Great demonstration of the microphone. This is very helpful to understand how well the different polar patterns sound. Great job!

I've been looking for a microphone for about 6 months but was very insecure with so many models and contradictory reviews. I spent like 3 hours reading and watching reviews on this Lyra and wasn't still sure about it. But man, you just sold me this microphone in less tan 4 minutes!

Hi since this is a condenser mic and it records is very sensitive record everything how would it work for creating your own samples for sample libraries in a quiet environment ?
Here is my goal and what I am using at the moment
At the moment I am borrowing a usb mic Shure mv88 for my old iPhone which I believe it’s at 24-bit/48kHz
Ok I am trying to create a very simple multisample instrument from a glass jar
I recorded 10 audio samples of me hitting the glass jar with each hit Gradually getting harder and louder so trying to capture for velocity Layers
and recording at lest 15-30 seconds of room noise
then bring each audio sample them into RX 7 to create a noise print to be use to clean the other the audio samples

I thought the front&back mode was omnidirectional and not figure 8 🤔
