Speaking of Bill Evans. Can you find out from one of you suppliers if there is a Jackpot records preorder for the Bill Evans - Undercurrent . I've only seen Amazon taking preorders for it. According to the description it's an all AAA mastered and Cut by Kevin Gray. It's scheduled for a Feb. 9 release date. Thanks.

Don't bother with that RIck Wakeman album. He hates it and doesn't endorse its release. It was his very "first" album released by a shady company after he made it big. It's lame.
Fans of Max Steiner, Bernard Herrmann, Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Alexandre Desplat, Franz Waxman, Nino Rota, Maurice Jarre, Dimitri Tiomkin, Jerry Goldsmith, the Newmans, and even Henry Mancini would beg to differ.
The re-release of these generic mainstream Jazz albums is quite depressing! So much great Jazz out there, yet the mundane vinyls are getting most of the attention.
The Empire strikes back was not his most successful and not the greatest piece of film score he ever. The consensus and you can check with AFI on this is that Star Wars the original score for the original movie is the greatest film score ever. Sounds like you’re a little confused which you admitted to so you might want to check on that.
Empire is a better soundtrack. The Imperial Death March is the best tune John ever wrote and it includes the main theme. If you could only have one, you wouldn't pick A New Hope. I don't care what AFI has to say. Rolling Stone put Public Enamy on the top ten greatest albums of all time list. That's when those lists lost credibility.
@@TheInGroove that’s an opinion. However you said he wasn’t big until episode V. That’s completely inaccurate. Because you like one piece or passage doesn’t make it better. Again do the research if you dare. The OG tops most polls on the subject. ☮️
What I said was if not for Empire Strikes Back, Ennio Morricone would be the greatest film composer of all time. The Imperial Death March elevated John to the best. You realize I give my opinions on this channel.

There’s no one else who ever said if not for empire etc. it’s a singular position and you did say it was empire that made him famous or something to that effect. The Ennio view is also your opinion. And FYI you mispronounce Ennio every time. I’ve left phonetic spellings in the past. It’s simple. “N-yo” Morricone.
When you think of the amazing composers like, Henry Mancini, Elmer, Bernstein, Max Steiner, Bernard, Hermann, John Barry, James Horner, Jerry Goldsmith
Maurice Jarre, Franz Waxman , Alan Silvestri, Lalo Schifrin et al. It’s impossible to say if not for a simple March of a bad guy you liked as a child Morricone would be the best. Just doesn’t pass the test. That’s my opinion. ☮️✌️
