So what were Annie and Arthur doing the entire month after Karen came clean about their affair? You would think that there would have been a major conversation there at some point! Then Arthur leaves for his weeklong vacation with Karen then returns to his and Annie’s house! Like that makes sense! “This can’t be happening”! Famous last words!
Annie's lying in wait, not arousing any suspicion. Arthur is continuing to be a complete dumbass, unaware of the shitshow about to commence.
She probably kept her mouth shut, played dumb, and gave the impression that she had no clue he was seeing another woman. Meanwhile, she finalized her plans to leave, and when the time was right, she got out.

In America the absent parent has to pay child support until 21 if the child goes to school.
That’s incorrect. Paying for higher education in the US has never been a legal obligation of any parent after a child turns 18. Adults, meaning over the age of 18, have no rights to financial support from either mommy or daddy. The custodial parent (that’s usually the wife) can request it or demand it, but even if a family court judge tries to enforce it, the non-custodial parent can go back to a circuit court and get it quashed under the emancipation laws of the state.

I think Karen got exactly what’s coming to her. She’s exactly what the wife called her a harlot. Going after a man who she knew was already married you applied for the job at his office just so you could do exactly that. Actually she needs a scarlet a the scarlet letter needs to be brought back. The only thing different I would’ve done I know she called the ex-husband sold her to children wouldn’t remain on her lawn, but I would’ve called CPS this way they would’ve been no chance that Karen’s ex-husband wouldn’t get the kids. I’m glad it worked out that he got full custody but CPS would’ve help that they probably would’ve gone really easy.
