Wow,... cool interview, probably one of the most honest assessments I have seen of a race from a driver. He and SVG had a great battle and all the racing was awesome from last to first. Really cool to watch from here in OZ!.
@@TheSaturnV I think for the most part, 70% of the guys racing in Xfinity and Cup all race this way with only a small percentage who hit and run, rather than rub and bump... I wish Supercars in Australia was more like this as the difference between the good and bad drivers is about 6 cars per year. They have little respect for the equipment and costs! Whereas the Nascar has a higher average speed per race and is a lot more susceptible to crashes, tires failures and alike. Here in Oz - the Supercars guys rarely crash because of a tyre failure or being put into a wall etc, but manage to write off more cars per season by quite a margin. SVG, Scott McLaughlin etc and other top Supercars drivers are still driving the same car at end of the season that they were driving at the start... Hats off to Nascar - Need more Track Races, Street Races and Road Races to mix in with the Oval Circuit Races. ie: Chicago is a Street Circuit and Watkins Glen is a purpose built Race Track. A mix of all types would increase the driving skills across the board!
SVG is my new favorite driver since last year. He is such a class act. I love his car control and race craft. I watch him just learn for the first 2 stages all year then turn it on in the final stage on the ovals. Now going back he is just getting used to it for a few laps or the first stage then getting after it.

Amazing win.. As another Aussie SVG fan this pass by Buscher on that last lap was one of the most classiest moves I’ve seen in NASCAR racing so far. Massive respect and absolutely deserved to win.
Congrats to Chris on a great race and win. I became a Buescher fan last year when he won three races and was pretty humble about it. Race fans down under must miss seeing SVG in Supercars. I'm glad he is racing here on the USA though. I'd like to see what SVG could do in the American Trans Am series. A few of the top Mustangs and Camaros in that series are running close to 900 horsepower, and are a lot faster than NASCAR Cup cars. A couple of years ago, the Trans Am series ran at the 4 mile Road America track the same weekend as the NASCAR Cup series. The top Trans Am car was 9+ seconds faster than the top Cup car. They can really scoot!
I was very confident when I saw the finish that SVG felt like it was fair and would congratulate Buescher in victory lane. Sometimes you just have that feeling, Larson/Busch at Chicagoland for example. Great race with two drivers leaving it all out there and neither one of them stepping over the line. Austin Dillon should take notes.

When Shane took the lead on the last restart, I thought like so many others he had the race won. However he made a mistake that definitely isn’t what you expect from him.
