Be good if all race seasons accommodated drivers being able to take part in international main events, like 24hr. SVG & Scotty would have got co-drive seats for both Bathurst main events
To make it to the round of 4 would be difficult but NOT Impossible. He is capable of top 10s on ovals and depending on other driver results you never know… let’s be positive
As a fellow kiwi I can see and hear the years of living and racing in Australia having an influence on Shane’s kiwi accent, Americans and some Australians don’t hear a difference, and I get that, but truly there is an audible difference. With Shane’s Aussie influenced kiwi accent you can hear I call it a whine, a slight lengthening of an enunciation, those that know the difference understand what I’m saying . But obviously he’s a proud kiwi, reminding viewers that he is a New Zealander. Dropping kiwi sayings like I can get bored shitless.

But saying anything negative on media about the sporting body/organization, doesn't go down any better vs saying something negative about your boss, or wife. SVG was a lot more reserved in Supercars, he smiles a lot more now, perhaps it's a don't give a fuck anymore mentality. Plenty of other options on the table, his done most of it, Drifting, Rally, Speedway
