I wish more people (eh like koreaboos) moving to sk recently would appreciate the rest of south korea, there are so many beautiful and interesting places, but everyone just wants to be in seoul near their oppas
I just moved back to the United States after living in Jeonju for close to 2.5 years, so I really enjoyed watching this video! Thank you so much for making such amazing content :)
My boyfriend and I stayed in Jeonju when I visited him in South Korea and honestly it was one of my favorite parts to visit. 2nd fave was Busan and then of course Seoul ❤️ can’t wait to go again!!
i feel as if i'm travelling with you, i see a new video and i'm like all starry-eyed "hmmm where are we off to next?" it's midnight here so let's go on this little adventure and then i'm off to dream world 🌸💮♡
Just discovered your channel like a week ago and OH MY WORD it is a breath of fresh air & beauty! I've been binge watching all of your adventures. I've travelled in Europe a lot, but now I want to see South Korea SO. BADLY. You show it in such a colorful way 😍
You take us there, and leave us wanting to travel there for more. I find myself stopping the video and watching bits over and over, even stopping for stills because i like the framing so much, and there is much to see. Watching is like the experience of walking it, getting quick impressions, flashes of something bright, things you have never seen, artistic things, curious things or sweet, even the pace of how much you can do in a day. This is helping me remember being there, and spotting familiar. Thankyou for more of Korea, I miss it.
I love your videos for when I start to lose my motivation to move to Korea. Sometimes I just need a reminder of how beautiful the country is and how much there is to see.
Cari I think this is my new favourite video of yours! I'm so excited to be heading to Jeonju in early May! Can't wait to see where you are off to next, where ever it is I hope you have a great time! 💕
Woah Jeonju is so pretty n lovely! Love all the hanoks and palaces and just all the historical features throughout the city in general. Will definitely have to visit before I die lol
I absolutely adore Jeonju. Stayed twice when living in Korea last year. My boyfriend and I wore hanbok the second time and it was so fun to try that experience. Felt like we were time traveling.
I've always been a silent viewer but randomly wanted to tell you that your videos and lovely personality never fails to cheer me up!! Thank you, much love from australia xx
Your energy in this video is so warm, hi cari I haven't watched in a while because I've been in a really stuck place since last year, now I'm having fun watching all these videos I missed. I love going on trips with you 😭💕
Just the vlog I needed. I was doubting whether or not we should visit Jeonju on our next trip and this convinced me to go! It's so beautiful and cozy (the donuts looked amazing!)
Your travel videos are the best! I can't travel right now because I have exams coming up, but watching your vlogs brightens my day and makes me feel like I don't just live in the library. Jeonju looks like a lovely city to visit, definitely on my list for when I eventually get to Korea.
I’ve figured out that I really like listening to your vlogs with my headphones in because especially when you’re walking down streets I can hear in stereo the shops and people passing by! Its really atmospheric 😂
I finally got the time to watch your latest vlog!! And OMG!!! This place is sooooo beautiful and kinda magical. I need to put it on my list🥰 You truly capture everything in such a beautiful and aesthetic way.....i‘m always in awe! Thank you so much for taking us with you to all these pretty places❤️
I was actually thinking what if Cari uploads today while I was doing hw and then your notification popped up on my phone and it made me look forward to watching it after completing my homework haha! Amazing video once again and those donuts looked delicious and just loved seeing everything, thank you for showing us and tagging us along on your trip (:
This video makes me miss Korea so much ㅠㅠ I went to Jeonju last July, and I think it's one of my favourite place in the world. Thank you for the video. Brings back a lot of happy memories ^^
I really love your videos so much and you inspire me to be a better person! I relate so much to you in many aspects but I still need to grow up a bit more haha- thank you so much for showing us Jeonju! It's such a beautiful place and I really wish I can go there!
I am a Canadian born in Busan...but living in Vancouver for most of my life....love love your vlogs always makes me want to wander the streets of Seoul dropping by cafes and museums. Thank you for your brilliant content.
GOsh that sunset!!! Thank you so much for all the work and effort you put into your videos. Will be heading over to Korea with my family end of March. CAN'T wait!!!
Lovely vlog as always!! Jeonju looks like such a quaint and charming place. Thank you for sharing and take it easy with the caffeine!! We love the whimsical travel spots but a healthy Cari is top priority ^^
aw i remember visiting the paper making place and the cafe with the view when i was in Jeonju! I recommend taking the free guided tours they offer in English for first time visitors. Thank you for the lovely video Cari!
Every time I watch your Korea vlogs it makes me feel like I am there with you! I really hope I can visit Korea myself over the next few years (trying to get my mom so far that we can go together 🤪). Anyways, thanks for another lovely vlog this was a great way to start my day!!! ❤️
Ahhh I'm moving to Jeonju in a month and this has got me pumped! I'll definitely check out that 객사 area. It's also nice to see that there are vintage shops around. Thanks for the video!
I'be been to Jeonju as well, it's such a lovely place! I learned how to sing Arirang ( such a fun experience) also I totally like the street where there are the cafes and there's that famous place where they serve the best Bibimpap. I was thinking of making a video of how to make Hanji as it's one of the experiences I really liked in Korea :)
Lazy wakings as I stayed up last night reading a book so I’m really late to this video. It’s always amazing to see people not in the main city, it’s how I feel if I randomly meet friends in Sydney or something ahahaha
I once visited Jeonju and it was literally my dream town because I love history and the kind of smalltown feeling. But I was visiting there with my ex who dragged me around through places super fast without me being able to actually enjoy the trip.. at least I had delicious kalguksu in one famous restaurant but that's about everything I can remember D: Next time I'm going to visit Korea I'll definetly visit Jeonju again.
I’ve been planning to use the remainder of my winter break to finally explore Korea beyond Seoul, and if Jeonju wasn’t at the top of my list before it definitely is now! Hopefully I’ll go in the next couple of weeks, so excited to go and see this beautiful place
Kitties! Beautifully shot. I love the light in the paper shop (and the paper!) I was in Jeonju for about five weeks and didn't know about the hanok village at all (this was back in 1992, pre-internet, alas). We did come across Pungnammun gate by accident, from the other side, but didn't go past that. My daughter wants to know what the song is at 3:50.
Was feeling pretty blue and had absolutely zero appetite but was gonna just force myself to eat food anyway. Then I saw your insta story about a new video. :0 Thanks for making such a chill and exploration-filled vlog, my fav kind! Made my lunch time so much nicer. :)
Thanks for taking me around through my eyes hahah 🥺🥺 i hope to travel around by myself in korea in the future. Just chill around and visit as many cafes and vintage shops possible :))
If I could, I would give you more than one thump up! Such a nice interesting place and you portrayed it so well with all this details and colours and little information. You can really hit the right amount of information without too less information or overwhelming details. I definitely want to visit this city one day, because you presented it so well, like all the other places you already shown us. 😊
I kind of miss the cold now😌❄ so much memories from rewatching these--🥺 I used to watch with another account, now as I'm a "new subscriber" yt recommends me all these.. can't resist, can't complain haha~
💖 If you like seeing cities other than Seoul, check out my Outside of Seoul playlist here: bit.ly/2YLR3h4

Watching this video knowing it was recorded right before the pandemic hit, and the whole whole changed, is so surreal.
Jeonju is beautiful. Around an hour east is Jangsu and the best Hanwoo restaurants.
I love the music in your videos....it reminds me of the indie music in the UK back in the mid to late 80's....💖
