  • hi everyone!! this week's video is one of my faves :) i took a mini-trip last week to jeonju, a city in korea's jeollabukdo region. needless to say, i fell in love... this city is one of the rare cities in korea that have maintained a sense of "old," more nostalgic, neighborhood centered culture. everywhere we went the people were so kind- every restaurant gave us extra food for free & we met the sweetest man just playing on his guitar after work...
    overall, such a special time that i will treasure for a while!

    I am super late, but hoping you'll recall. I love bibimbap and will be traveling back to Korea, so I'm making sure to spend some time in Jeonju. Do you remember the name of the place you ate?

    So Jeonju is more relaxing and chill vs Seoul ? I want my first ever Korean trip to be in Jeonju but everyone says to stay in Seoul 😢

      I think they have completely different vibes!! Seoul is definitely the capital of the country-it has everything, from old to new, and is really bustling/busy! Jeonju was so beautiful and relaxing but definitely doesn't have as many different activities to do as Seoul, I think. Maybe try to hit both if possible?

    Hi! Loved your vlog ♥️ I'm planning to do 2521 shooting location tour also. Would you mind if I ask how you went to the tunnel? Is it a walking distance from the Hanok Village or is there any public transpo that you can ride going there?
    Thank you!

    • @KateLee3
      @KateLee3  Год назад

      yes!! it is walking distance but around like ~25/30 min from the hanok village, and then there's a nice little walking path that kind of takes a longer way back! the tunnel is called 한벽굴 (hanbyukgul) in korean if that helps you find it.
