    First off, thank you so much for watching our first video on youtube :) We hope you enjoyed it! What part of the tour was your favorite? For me, the temple was the highlight of my day, but really all the places that we went to were nice, and the commute between each destination was so short, so thats why we bundled these places together for the tour.
    Also, my wife and I are pretty new to youtube and I would really appreciate some feedback so that I can make more entertaining videos for you all the enjoy :) thank you again so much for watching !!

      That area is really scenic ! I think you'll enjoy it over there.. the hike isn't the easiest.. I recall it taking a couple hours to finish.. but it was well worth it. If you enjoy hiking, also consider jangsan mountain. Its at the edge of Haeundae so its easy to get to. Beautiful walking trails, waterfalls.. and it takes about 2 hours to reach the top of the mountain on the beginner course.

      @SomewhereinKorea  Год назад +1

      Thank you for watching and commenting! really appreciate it :) Yeah thats right all these places are pretty close to each other. The only thing that I would have done differently here is take the haeundae blueline train over to songjeong beach instead ( and then back after the whole tour )
      If you're planning on taking cabs, then download Kakaomap. Much easier than hailing a cab. ( by the way cab prices have gone up slightly since I posted this video. They're still pretty cheap, but they increased the minimum base charge now to around 5-6000 won instead of 4000 previously

    Hey, I'm traveling to Seoul and Busan in April, so I will check out your videos for ideas on places to visit. In fact I'm looking for a beautiful and romantic location where I could propose to my gf :) Best of luck on your channel and series!

    • @SomewhereinKorea
      @SomewhereinKorea  Год назад

      Hey Luca, that's amazing to hear that you're going to pop the big question. If you're going to do that over here, you absolutely have to make it here during the cherry blossom season.. and I actually know of a few super romantic places to do that here in Busan, but I'm sure there's also tons of places to do that in Seoul as well. This place I have in mind looks magical during the day and at night because you're literally surrounded by trees that are completely covered in white/pink falling cherry blossom petals. Cherry blossom season only lasts for less than a month so you'll have to get your timing right

    • @hotshotluca6029
      @hotshotluca6029 Год назад

      @@SomewhereinKorea Thanks for the reply. Yeah so we are booked from the middle of April for two weeks, so according to Google it's around two weeks after the peak. This is something I was thinking about too, would be ideal to find a beautiful park. We're gonna stay for a week in Seoul and then week in Busan.

    • @SomewhereinKorea
      @SomewhereinKorea  Год назад +1

      @@hotshotluca6029 You'll still most likely catch cherry blossom season during that time. If you're looking for a park, you can also consider up one of the mountains here in Busan. The streets on both sides are literally lined from bottom to the top with cherry blossom trees. But you'll probably either want to drive or take a cab up depending on which location you go to. Directly beside the main Haeundae strip, you can take a cab which is only a 5 minute drive away or so, there is a beautiful place ( Dalmaji-gil road ). Here you'll find yourself surrounded by cherry blossoms and right in-between Haeundae beach and Songjeong beach. So the views from here are really nice and it's easy to get to. There are other places too, so if you'd like more tips then let me know

      @@SomewhereinKorea One of our Airbnb's is at Gwanganhaebyeon-ro. So it's a bit far from what you mentioned. But regardless, I'm sure I'll find some place closer. If you know something, then I'd of course appreciate it. The apartment is right at the beach, so maybe I'll surprise her on a beach walk. Thanks again for your help. My gf is doing all of the planning, so I have to at least nail this thing right :)

    • @SomewhereinKorea
      @SomewhereinKorea  Год назад

      @@hotshotluca6029 that area is so much fun to hang out during the day, but even better at night. And you're in luck, one of the nicest areas for sightseeing cherry blossoms is right at the edge of that beach ! The only downside is that the cherry blossoms there are inside of a neighborhood full of older apartment buildings, but despite that, people from all over busan go to that specific area to check out the cherry blossoms. Another area relatively close to there is at hwangnyeong mountain.. the cherry blossoms look amazing there, but you'll need to take a cab there.. at the top of the mountain you can see basically all of busan. It probably has the nicest most grand view in all of busan.. try Googling it.. there's an old Fire beacon there, so you should be able to find some videos etc. It'll be a little more private too, but I'm sure other tourists will still be there.. but gwangali Beach where you mentioned is usually extremely busy lol so if you don't mind proposing with a crowd then go for it there haha. • @SomewhereinKorea
      @SomewhereinKorea  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hey :) hmm what I've found so far is that most people get a little uncomfortable around tons of camera gear, especially in crowded places.
      So our simple setup ( & one we most commonly use ) is just an iPhone 14 pro max, a DJI gimbal for a steady shot, and a lavalier microphone that's attached to a zoom h1n recorder.
      Of course you can purchase more expensive gear, but with everything I mentioned above, you'll be able to make some pretty good videos 😀
