- Hi, my name is Matt Stigler and I am a pro footballer (or soccer) performance coach. The whole goal of this channel is to bring you guys pro footballer level athletic performance advice that I couldn't afford and didn't have access to as a kid completely for free.

Amazing vid. I think the next vid you shud put out is in how much stamina you need to play as pro. Strength as well. As in fast space time for 100m, long runs time duration, max weights to lift. All measured up so all of us can try to achieve a specific target.

Hey Matt i have a question,is it good if i do Plyometrics+Strength on Wednesday and on Sunday one day after the Match(I also do a little plyo work at lower intensity one day before the match with lower reps and sets)For me the Problem is hitting strength and plyo work 3 times a week because i have Football Training on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday and Saturday i have a Match Do you have any tips for me?Would really appreciate it

Is there a certain weight you would recommend to go when going 90 seconds on and 90 off when doing a leg exercise for example on a split squat, would you want to go heavy weight or light? Thanks
I really like this. I like running but I seldom go past 3-4 miles. 5 if I’m really feeling it. Go faster guys.

@@YourFootballTrainer I’ve played since I was 5, enjoy running and was in the Marines. What I have learned is that (at least for my body type) that higher output in frequencies has better results for me. Even on a non visual level

I do, just not the weight exercises as I want people to be able to do that program without any equipment.
The weight exercises are done in the Complete Footballer Performance Program.

hey matt i like the ideas of the intervals but I am a smaller player physically and i want to put some more muscle/mass on, would i be able to achieve that doing these circuits?

@@miguelbrossel4712 I would lock in diet and protein intake first and then I don't think training needs to change much

How do I track how many seconds im on while doing these excersises, like do I need to have a timer and just reset it for rest and work?
Yeah usually just use my phone. It doesn’t have to be 100% exactly

@@adamdunne2399 yeah, it absolutely sucks haha but its incredibly beneficial. Obviously need to use much lighter weight
