- TMC RTS-06 CNG #705 (Ex-Command Bus #4929) was retired shortly after it was taken off by the MTA.
Some of these buses were nicknamed, "The Pigeons". Why? Well, just listen...LOL! Enjoy!
Brings back memories lol... Thought I was weird, didn't realize there were other fans out there!
OH HELL YEAH!!! I approve of this. Shame that not many of them were ordered.
OH NO YOU DID NOT PUT THAT UP HERE!!!! THAT SLIP INTO 4TH FINISHED MY ASS OFF!!!!! You The man son!!!!
Long live, the RTS!
They need to bring em back
use to love this bus on junction boulevard
that transmission slip though
@WestEndtransit Yes, "The Pigeon" rules!!! Glad you liked it!
Wow she sounds awesome! Kinda sounds like a 4 stroker 6V92 engine :-D
There is still a Command Bus RTS in some brooklyn bus garage.
It's too bad they're all retired, with the exception of Command# 4904 of course.
@WMATAvids Glad you enjoyed it!
man....simply amazing...
@Q65LTD Glad you enjoyed it!
@jrosscsu06 Thanks! Mr. Barsky was the one with the clip!
Triboro's RTS CNGs were louder.
Wooo that transmission slip had me done.
This is actually an Inline 6 engine..not a V6. Same for the ISL, ISL-G, ISC, ISM, etc. DD50 is an Inline 4
@DCAreaTransitFan LMAO! Glad you enjoyed it!
@rts9100 LMAO!!!! Glad you enjoyed it! There's MORE goodies on the way! Stay tuned! ;-)
This is still at spring creek depot but the cng tank is expired and i think something is wrong with the transmisson
As of January 2018, it can now be confirmed that same bus is now at Eastchester, awaiting scrapping.
@@Bjorge861 awww that's sad
@BrIaNMeRcY1022 LOL! Glad you liked it! I wish these stayed around longer.
@Jovan9603 Thank Mr. Barsky. He recorded it. Yes, it does sound good though.
@AdmiralArcher Glad you enjoyed it. Thank Mr. Barsky for the clip. He recorded it.
Cummins L10G Engine, ZF Ecomat 5HP-500 is that what the TMC RTS 06 CNG buses sounds like? Because I learned this from Vulnerable Toyota.
it is where i live near starret city section of brooklyn
Well, that's debatable my friend!
MTA always seems to get rid of the good ones lol.
ooooooo that backfire yes!
Wow these CNG's are better than the Orion Hybrids
your opinion is wrong.
Lol
He’s right lmao
Where is these buses now????
That bus is at the Spring Creek bus depot it comes out only for the bus Rodeo in the summer time
Antonio Goode it’s Actually at Eastchester now.
@@dmcr9525 yes you're right but three are some of the command bus line at the Spring Creek bus depot only two rts at their in the back of the depot i see two of them last week

@nycgridlock Glad you like it!
I never seen a rts bus with a fuel tank on top of it
DDAAMMNN!!! This bus was on fire whew!
@Kote12TK Some of these were part of MTA Bus Company.
BM-3 customers we miss this bus in sheepshead tearing shit up on Avenue x the old route via emmons make a left at Knapp left at avenue W left on batchelder st right on avenue x and regular 😂😂😂
More like MCI Classics OR RTS diesels.
I love that TMC RTS CNG it's the first CNG than Orion 5 cause again it signify the use of the commons L10G engine. The first Orion 5 signify to use of the commens L10G engine. Then they were all later signify use of the Detroit Diesel series 50G engine. RTS were all sent to Jackie Gleason depot before later sent to Spring Creek Depot AKA Command Bus Company. Orion 5 only stayed at Jackie Gleason depot until they're retired.
damnn!!
Now that's my V6. Is that the Cummins engine? I wish it were a 4spdr like No. 9146.
What is that engine? Cummins??
yes flyin like a bat outta hell
@TheTransitMan123 Oh I am!!!!
Nope. Sorry.
This is actually an Inline 6 engine..not a V6. Same for the ISL, ISL-G, ISC, ISM, etc. DD50 is an Inline 4
