For a brief moment, the pikmin's sap addiction reminded me of Dwarf Fortress mechanics. An enemy incursion happens at the same time of day your warrior dwarves go for their daily booze break. For them, the choice is obvious.

Yeah this game is way scarier than dark souls. Childhood game complete! If you can get the perms, a full series would be great, pikmin are truly the dark souls of saplings.
The true horror of this game isn't the monsters you fight, but the monster you become. Just look at how Fauna started this game trying to keep as many Pikmin alive as possible, but just stopped caring for them as the game progressed.
It's kinda poetic. The Pikmin became more ruthless just as Fauna herself did. We ARE sure that Mother Nature turning a race of sentient plants into conquerors is the good ending right?

Honestly, for someone who suffered from the glitches, bad AI and "head empty no thoughts" moments, Fauna still did really well for someone who played the game blind. Some LPs don't even have a lot of days for the Final Trial to wrok with, let alone finish it. Congrats Fauna for being kind of decent at the game!

All a pearl is, is a piece of grit or other irritant, and the oyster responds by coating it with the pearlescent shell material to make it smooth and not irritating. Pearls aren't always a perfect ball but sometimes are lumpy and not worth much, and cultured pearls, they actually put a seed in an oyster in a farming operation to force it to make a pearl around it. Perfect pearls of unusual color or lustre are worth huge amounts of money for jewelry.

What's the minimum amount of pikmin you need to win? Fewest deaths? Skipping to sunset to minimize your time? I bet there are a lot of crazy runners out there...
