For a brief moment, the pikmin's sap addiction reminded me of Dwarf Fortress mechanics. An enemy incursion happens at the same time of day your warrior dwarves go for their daily booze break. For them, the choice is obvious.

The true horror of this game isn't the monsters you fight, but the monster you become. Just look at how Fauna started this game trying to keep as many Pikmin alive as possible, but just stopped caring for them as the game progressed.

Honestly, for someone who suffered from the glitches, bad AI and "head empty no thoughts" moments, Fauna still did really well for someone who played the game blind. Some LPs don't even have a lot of days for the Final Trial to wrok with, let alone finish it. Congrats Fauna for being kind of decent at the game!

Pearls aren't always a perfect ball but sometimes are lumpy and not worth much, and cultured pearls, they actually put a seed in an oyster in a farming operation to force it to make a pearl around it. Perfect pearls of unusual color or lustre are worth huge amounts of money for jewelry.

I can really understand the addiction and wanting to go for just one more level I can't believe it's already over, the writing was great and watching the pikmin fight by themselves at the end was really sweet and funny. What's the minimum amount of pikmin you need to win? Fewest deaths? Skipping to sunset to minimize your time? I bet there are a lot of crazy runners out there...

one thing I always forget about Pikmin 1 is how insanely OP the frogs are
Never thought I'd see Fauna going 'just one more day' to Pikmin, so much so that you finished it today! We'll remember all the sacrifices of those little sap drinkers even if they always went the wrong way! (It made for great comedy tho ) Those jumping frogs, giant enemy spiders and bugbears are the horrific stuff of nightmares, but your pikmin forces made compost of them! Good job on changing the planet's ecosystem forever and hope to see Pikmin 2 sometime!

We lost many a good soldier these past two streams o7 I only had any knowledge of pikmin from smash bros so I knew they could die but never realized just how brutal these games are to those little guysThat being said, congrats on beating the game so quickly, and I'm excited to see the others in this series
