Review: Lululemon Beyondfeel

I've worn Sacouny for 15 years and I just got a pair of orthotics last year. With the orthotics, Sacouny's toebox is too narrow. So I tried out women's Beyondfeel shoes. The biggest positive is that my baby toe doesn't feel squished or rubbed! There's more lateral arch support in lululemons. However, I can't run in the women's Beyondfeel. They are clucky in the back and I feel like I am 'sinking into the cushion' instead of getting enough energy return. so they are good 'very cushioned walking shoes with runningshoe feel" but I wouldn't call them 'running shoes'.

you mentioned these can pass as gym shoes, are they comfortable to squat/deadlift in? great review nonetheless!

Hey - Alex here👋
For me, they hold up well at the gym: good grip, comfortable lateral motion, not too heavy. That said, I only really squat and deadlift to service my running - there are certainly more specialized shoes out there for dedicated weightlifters.
