No offense, but how do you miss one whole queen, or two, depending on your point of view ?
Edward didn't leave his throne to Elizabeth. He left it to Jane Grey, who held it for only days before Henry's first daughter, Mary, became Queen. Mary held the throne for several years until her death. Elizabeth then inherited the throne from her half sister not Edward.

I have my own theories about Anne’s miscarriages and stillbirths. She suffered through this illness called the sweating sickness (which killed her sister Mary’s first husband, among others) and I feel like she never fully recovered. Perhaps Elizabeth was a “miracle” but after that, the effects of said sickness took effect.
I know that there is no direct cause for eithe miscarriage of stillbirth (some say stress but no direct cause is found). Once again, just a theory but it’s interesting to think about especially considering how stressful being queen and former mistress of the king

She was never coronated, so she wasn't technically a Queen, but she was at the same time. Still, only for 9 days until Mary I, the ACTUAL claimant to the Throne of England, and all her many many supporters swept into London and claimed the throne. She was going to allow Jane Grey to live, knowing that she had been influenced and even forced into the agreement by Edwards privy counsel and nobles. However, her father kept plotting coups to take back the Throne for his daughter and her young husband, so she ended up being executed along with her young husband and her father.

So, as stated in numerous comments there were a number of inaccuracies and aspects left out in this video.
First, part of the reason why Pope Clement was unwilling to grant the divorce was because Catherine's nephew was Charles The Fifth, who was the Holy Roman Emperor at the time.
Catherine, being the smart and very shrewd woman she was, had written to Charles talking about her treatment by the king and asking Charles for help. He responded (or some say his men acted independently) by having his troops march into Rome, forcing Clement to flee the Vatican and remain a virtual prisoner for the rest of his days in Rome. Clement obviously did not want to antagonize his jailer (who for all intents and purposes was Charles) so he declined Henry's request.
Secondly, as previously stated, Edward reigned for six years after Henry died, before he passed it to Lady Jane Grey.
She reigned for a mere 9 days before Mary the First took over, reigning for five years before she then died and Elizabeth the First took over.

I don’t think it’s TOO crazy to leave Lady Jane Grey off of this, only because her 9-day reign itself was disputed, and from what we know Jane accepted the crown under duress, and happily relinquished her claim when Mary I won. She can easily be considered an illegitimate monarch.
But leaving Mary I out makes no sense. She was crowned and reigned for 5 years.

The letters are in the Vatican because the case for annulment went before the Holy See...that's why...Anne was not giving anything up until Henry put a ring on her finger. This was a big deal after all. Henry did not say he was a protestant....he just said...he was head of the Catholic church in England and that everyone should swear an oath of allegiance to him. The church of England as it is now was in place in Elizabeth's I time much later/

Wait no. When Edward died, Lady Jane Grey became a bit of a pseudo queen for a few days before being overthrown and executed by Queen Mary.

Downvoted for the horrible ending. Edward's throne passed to Jane Grey. It was then taken from her by Mary I. Upon Mary I's death several years later, the throne passed to Elizabeth I. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!

What Henry did to Catherine was unconscionable. She actually won wars in his absence, in his name & for England.
Once he did what he did to her ? She lived in abject misery, but was a pillar of strength to all that knew her.
A strongly religious & principled woman, that Catherine of Aragon.
And as strong as women come- with advanced apologies to every African-American that ever had a mother...

Yes, he did majorly screw her over but he also had the added pressure of having a male heir. Men do this to their wives all the time just because they find a younger woman. And they do not have the excuse of needing an heir.

Technically, Henry and Catherine DID have a son - Henry, Duke of Cornwall. He only lived a few months, but he was born alive and would have been Henry IX if he'd lived.

You missed one huge detail. After Edward died his sister Mary Tudor was crowned queen and proceeded to go on a years-long mission of burning every protestant she could find. They called her bloody Mary. After she failed to produce an heir and was dying, she named her half sister Elizabeth as her successor. It's very important to get your facts straight before making these videos!

History wasn't kind to poor Mary. No one mentions that it was considered a duty for catholics to burn heretics back then. The idea was that letting them live would damn your own soul. She most likely truly believed she was doing the right thing.
