I see so many vehicles with LED headlight conversions that are aimed way too high. It's a good thing you've pointed this out in this video as it is extremely important for safety. But many are either unaware this step needs to be done, or just don't care.
Hey mate great video. I have put these in my 80 recently but now the high beam indicator on the dash doesn't work (did work with stock lights). Lights/high beams are working. Unplugged new lights to test and now the dash indicator is still not working Did this happen to you and did you rectify this problem. I'm suspecting it's the cheap wiring harness??
I have already put in a fix with the old headlights but not that fix does not work with the new ones. When I get time I am planing to pull the cluster out and info it and see if it will work. It’s something to do with not as much current draw with the leds
@@blackllama1 no worries mate. When I disconnect the new LEDs and flick the high beams on the dash light still isn't showing up so maybe your right about the load. It may need a load to appear on the dash. (Unfortunately i threw the old lights out and couldnt test it with them back in. Not that big of a drama as the lights are working fine and such a better upgrade from stock for $170. Would be nice for it to appear on the dash though. Keep up with the videos of the 80 good stuff👍
I have a question, has there been any follow up and could you do a review a year onwards after install? are you also able to give a demonstration on how to aim the headlights correctly?
Just drove home from Sydney to Newcastle. First time long drive at night and I am quite happy with the lights better than the other leds I had in And I would say better than my original ones
@@blackllama1 that's great. I went to the link you supplied and found them however it says its not a fit for my 93 FZJ80R which seams weird. They should fit hey.

@@waynepratt354 that seems odd they fitted straight into my 92 1hdt I see no reason they should not fit but I can not guarantee it
Hey man where can I get the cover for the headlight
I found that one on eBay. Just search 80 series headlight covers
Yeah make sure you get the correct ones. The first ones I bought were too bright and kept getting flashed.
Can you leave the link for the light please.
Cheers
