This was a lovely peptalk. Thank you. I have been self-publishing kids books for 3 years now, but it's been kinda stop/start and. alot of trial and error. I am ona. rcent mission to take it more seriously and really double down again. So this was very motivational. Thanks! I need to work on the marketing stuff. I have an instagram channel for my book brand, but that's about it. I have tried Amazon PPC, and paid Meta ads for my non-Amazon e-commerce site where I sell copies I print myself. It's really ineffective and I feel kinda stuck with it. But all in all, I'm very optimistic and determined to keep trucking

Nope. I teach because I'm a teacher.
I have no idea about marketing or preordering. Is marketing preordering? What is preordering and why is it a thing? If you have a video on the marketing side I’d definitely watch that.
We have lots of videos about both! But marketing and a preorder are two separate things. (Though you will want to market your preorder)
Thank you Vicky I am starting to feel better about myself. I wrote one book and sent it to a ghost writer who offered suggestion. She actually suggested that I make a series out of it. Therefore, I have wrote two more. I plan to join your class soon however, until then I was wondering do you think 4 books would be good to start (for my series)? and how did you start marketing your book before you published it?

How to market the book then?
Start by making a marketing plan! We have tons of RUclips videos and blog posts all about that.
What publisher did you end up going with? I found a company to do it for $700 dollars is that good value.
Also, did you do your own artwork?
NEVER pay to publish! A real publisher pays YOU!
