It's really cool watching Senna being determined so much to win and going for an overtake of Nannini on exactly the same chicane where minutes ago he had accident with Prost. Interestingly, no accident happened between these both drivers which sort of proves that Prost had rather taken an 'unusual' racing line. Having said that, I still truly consider Prost as a great driver though.
Senna's wheels were behind with Prost and in front of with Nannini. Just watch better the pictures. Without the help of the marshals, Senna could not have restarted the engine.
Man, the way Senna won this impossible race in Japan proves 3 things. First, he was the real champion of the 1990 F1 season. Second, Senna should have won that race. Third, he was a better racer than Alain Prost. Slightly perhaps, but still the better one. 🏎

As amazing as Senna was and he is in my opinion the best driver in the world, I'm sorry but he went to over take on the inside and straight into Prost's racing line. He caused the accident.
The fued wasn't all that personal. They both wanted to win very much. They were the 1 and 2, interchangeably, drivers. They both had respect for each other and both wanted to clobber each other. Shrug. Prost was a pall bearer for Senna. He was not loving it.

3:14 down shifting with H pattern shifter... Ayrton was the God of races
so lucky i used to watch these legends on tv..live! man, i miss that noise on sundays tv...
The most...
We will miss you Mr.Senna ♥ ♥ ♥
Senna is The Best and will be :)
Senna 4 mondiali in F1!!!!
Miss him
Not in 1990
No, 3.
Senna THE BEST 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻👏🏻🙏🏻
SENNA WON THAT RACE, Prost must have been happy he had the president in his pocket
Prost was certainly happy, he knew he was the best, and Senna knew that too.
Even if Senna was given the victory here Prost was still ahead on points.
BALESTRE O ETERNO ALI BABÁ, QUE JUNTO COM O SEU ÚNICO LADRÃO GARFOU SENNA EM UM CAMPEONATO, VCS CONSEGUEM IMAGINAR SENNA TETRA?! EU CONSIGO SEMPRE.
absolute fucking class the way he brings her back to the pits , what a entry into the pits and the exit was full on the limit ! nanini got blown away and senna got robbed and we all no why!
1:44 that camera angel tho
Ayrton senna was the best f1 driver in the world l love brazil so much
Prost stole Senna Championship but Senna stole fans heart and Senna remembered as one of the greatest legend in F1.
Yes. The "James Dean" effect. Also worked for Gilles.
Prost stole nothing.
Balestre did.
Do not put that guilt into Prost's shoulders, because any and all racing drivers would have done what he did, Senna included, at that time. The dirty prick was Balestre.
@@monotoneman5980 Gilles was a better racing driver than you could ever dream about becoming.
Stop spreading bullshit all over the internet, Senna hater.
The greatest rivarly in F1...EVER!
Ballestre&Prost vs Senna.
And Ayrton won.
Prost was very good, Senna was God.
Senna won? 3 championchips vs 4 senna dead prost lives...strange win in my eyes
@@nicklasandersson5606 Senna died because of a mechanical mistake, which translated into a huge, fatal accident.
Senna won 3 times, had 1 championship stolen from him by Balestre, as he admitted later on in 1996.
At the moment of his death, Senna would have been 4 times champion, while Alain would have been 3, if Balestre did not set things up.
Deal with it. And don't be a prick.
Sena simply the best ever. This was a robbery, a shame for the sport.
Senna was no way near the best ever.
@Crixus Mauperthuis but you are here to say that alain prost is better than senna in every comment that says the oposite
@Crixus Mauperthuis" Le professor" is how they call Alain Prost. I was back then a fan of Prost, and i think its hard to say who was better. Prost or Senna ? For sure is that Senna had more talent. Prost always calculating the hole race. For this the name le professor. I think you can compare Senna & Prost with Al pacino and Robert de Niro. Senna like Pacino and Prost like de Niro. But ok its my opinion. But the true is most of ex f1 drivers and f1 experts thinks Senna is 1 of, if not the best f1 driver in history.
@Crixus Mauperthuis HAHA, Youre a troll
I think that the political backlash managed to emotionally destroy senna for the last part of the season, regardless of being professional sportsmans they are very prone to that, specially when it's a fight for the championship between team mates.
Muita disputa. Alain e sena. Saudades das manhas se domingo
These cars were beasts!
Senna, inigualável.
The Best
Senna the best race car driver ever. 👊🇧🇷👊🇧🇷👊🇧🇷👊🇧🇷
Fangio is.
(Schumacher)
Senna is number 1
he already knew what to do at the end of 1990 ;)
87- Piquet
88- Senna
89- BALESTRE
90- Senna
91-Senna
3:57 Senna era sangue nos olhos! 💪🏻
Senna Number One
Very cool upload : D Great quality
Legend
AIRTON SENNA ERA INCRÍVEL O MAIOR PILOTO DE TODOS OS TEMPOS SAUDADES👑
Senna..simply the best
4th best.
Michael
I'll tell you this: Ayrton would not have tolerated any criticism of Prost today had he been alive.
Saw a clip where a woman said 'my mother told me anger was bad, so I saved all of my anger for Balestre.'
Also, watch out when Senna is pissed off.
Love f1!💕
Senna has the beutiful helmant in f1 racing
It's really cool watching Senna being determined so much to win and going for an overtake of Nannini on exactly the same chicane where minutes ago he had accident with Prost. Interestingly, no accident happened between these both drivers which sort of proves that Prost had rather taken an 'unusual' racing line.
Having said that, I still truly consider Prost as a great driver though.
There's an image from the helicopter above that proves that if they didn't crash Prost would go to the grass.
Senna's wheels were behind with Prost and in front of with Nannini. Just watch better the pictures.
Without the help of the marshals, Senna could not have restarted the engine.
We could see the wicked smile of Prost's face at the last
Stop it, don’t get too excited because that’s not true.
DUDE IM TOTALLY,TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU SO MUCH
Man, the way Senna won this impossible race in Japan proves 3 things. First, he was the real champion of the 1990 F1 season. Second, Senna should have won that race. Third, he was a better racer than Alain Prost. Slightly perhaps, but still the better one. 🏎
You mean 1989 season
Prost is the real GOAT of 80s...
@@alexlacl8730 Ah yes, it's 1989 not 1990.
Both were top drivers.... both were ruthless and hard competitors. Was more a senna fan as a kid but have come to respect what prost did across his career.
O campeonato de F1 de 1989 foi uma infâmia.
I was born in 1990 and I love Senna✊ 🇧🇷🏁✊🇿🇦 the greatest of all time
As amazing as Senna was and he is in my opinion the best driver in the world, I'm sorry but he went to over take on the inside and straight into Prost's racing line. He caused the accident.
Senna leyend epic!!! 😙😊😙😊
If his team not mess up his race in monte carlo by ordered him to slow down, He may be the winner of this season
The fued wasn't all that personal. They both wanted to win very much. They were the 1 and 2, interchangeably, drivers. They both had respect for each other and both wanted to clobber each other. Shrug. Prost was a pall bearer for Senna. He was not loving it.
Racits stole the 89 season from Senna,Prost was the spoiled boy back then,Senna will always be 4 times world champion and Prost3.
Prost was like a spoiled child who was never at fault
The master Senna
"Senna The Best", o melhor dos melhores!
I don't know but Balestre & Prost reminds me of Ecclestone & Schumi. I may be wrong. 😆
You are wrong.
Alain Prost was always my favorite F1 driver and the best. Ayrton obviously was one of the best, but he was not always honesty and all the world take him as victim and the reality does not was so. Ayrton was a normal person, but not a perfect person.
Senna siempre presente 💝
If Prost makes the same kamikaze pass attempt, Senna himself would have shut the door and rightfully so !
This all started in '84 , when they ROBBED the Monaco victory from Ayrton in the Toleman . But those 1/2 points came back to bite Prost at the end of the season , to give the championship to Lauda . Karma !
Omg that sound ❤️
I thought short-cutting is supposed to help you gain time. Senna lost a good 30 sec. to a minute outside of the track, then he lost at least 40 sec. more in the pits getting a new front wing
You know it's bad when they bring out John Malkovich to read the result of your investigation.... 6:13
