A Prayer for Ukraine: Psalm 31

In late February 2022, the Chief Rabbi in Ukrain invited Christians to join Jews in praying this Psalm together. A Prayer for Ukraine uses God's own words in Psalm 31 to lift our brothers and sisters before the Lord as they struggle to retain their freedom from Putin’s tyranny. It calls on God to be their refuge, give comfort in their affliction and mercy in their distress. It asks that lying lips be silenced and the wicked be put to shame.
