I went to look at one today. I must say, it looks better in person. Even the back doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would.
I just find this hideous. To me there isn’t many worse looking vehicles to be had nowadays

We bought a calligraphy a month ago and are truly loving it. We traded in a 1022 pathfinder. This is a very smooth ride compared to the pathfinder and more for your buck!
Hyundai has come a LONG way. This is, hands down, better than a LR Defender. I prefer the exterior look of the LR a bit more, but I like the way this Santa Fe looks. And regarding interior quality, ride quality, overall interior room, fit and finish, sound deadening, and reliability...it's Hyundai all the way. And it's priced about where it should be for what it is.

@@TheCarHornMaster - Not really. If you take a good hard look at the Defender interior, it's pretty low rent. The materials are cheap, although they are bolted together well with few rattles. The Santa Fe uses higher quality materials and has at least the same, if not better, build quality. Ergo, it has better interior quality. And on the plus side, it won't inexplicably die 4-6 times a year, unlike the Land Rover.
I saw a matte bronze Calligraphy drive by me and it looked incredible

It's one of the best looking suv's out there. Amazing in person but the transmission issues I've been reading about made me take a step back.

Not everyone have 30 year old rusty F150 without muffler . If you want to hear loud muffler then go listen to hellcat RUclips channels and stop lurking in 4 cylinders section.
Drive it with full passengers and do a review on that

I can’t with the back end and I’ve seen it in person. Had that been different I might have considered it. Plus the that light color on the interior will get so dirty.
Do your research,it says H on the steering wheel in morse. ! You missed out so many features.
Are they still having engine issues and transmission issues . I have seen people reporting transmission problems

Might be another problem vehicle - another channel has already had transmission replaced twice!!
That DCT is probably the only thing holding Hyundai back. If they ditched the DCT and went to a regular transmission like the Palisade, I'd go out and put my name on one tomorrow.

Ugliest rear I have ever seen. I waited for this to launch in the USA and seeing the rear was a turn off. What happened? Designer got to the rear and just clocked out for the day?
