Its Criminal these guys did not get bigger one of the best and unique rock bands in the last 20 years no one sounds like them
You forget just how fucking awesome this band were back in the day.
Fuck yeah! If you haven't seen them lately you really need to if you get the chance. They are just as great today as they have ever been.
Back in the day, and also today....I don't think time will change this LOL!!
They are probably Tighter today then they were back in the day.
The most underated band
Best is always underated.
Epic band, so much going on in their songs.
Best song from an underrated band.. better that Cult of Personality imo..
Awesome Band. Living Colour Forever and Ever.
Greetings from Brazil!

One of the few all black Musicians playing some of the best Rock in the 90's. Super smart lyrics!❤
Just got to rediscover this band on tour with Extreme. What amazing talent, what amazing music!!
Fantastisch band, great Song original Hard rock
What an amazing song. 'Might be my favourite on the album.

I have seen them live several times.. ALWAYS a great show!!
I saw them back in the day with UDS. it seem like they were a lot of brothers were rockin back then.. Fishbone, Bad Brains, 24/7 Spyz, Follow For Now to name a few.
I saw them with UDS, too!!! One of the best shows I’ve ever seen!!!
Follow for now !!!
Have not heard that name in a long time . I interviewed them once for college radio.
Nice guys
The best band in the world
Amazing live performance.
my fv L.C. song. Vernon's style.... ripper
Total killer! One of the GREATEST BANDS EVER walked the soil... Period.
i saw them back in '88 opening for anthrax in Edinburgh. living colour are awesome!!
The intro to this song is incredible!!!! Saw them at Center Stage in Atlanta back around late 1990 or 1991. Think they opened up with "New Jack Theme". Remember the lead singer was wearing a surfer's Body Glove wetsuit! Have no idea why I still remember that 30 years later. LOL! They were awesome! Watching this now makes me remember how much great talent was out there on the scene back in the 1990's. I think even local and regional bands from that era...many of whom never made it big, eclipse most of the newer stuff out today.
Best rock song introduction ever
So, I love this song and want to replicate the solo, but realize the Vernon has his own structure... it's there, ever evolving... luv ya Vernon!
You need friends you need help but first you have to help yourself ..still wrecks me😢😢😢
This band has awesome fusion with their lyrics & their music performances🎵
30 years of magical creativity, energy and scenic mastery

Saw them on Rolling Stones Steel Wheels tour I think in '88 or '89.... .Vernon Reid and that Calhoun on drums very underrated.....

Black Magic and Obra de Dios.
Yeah.. they are fuckin amazing man.. but damn this would have impacted me more if they just did the way it was written... Sorry you wanna yell .. do it but this song had a flawless design
Rubbish! This is brilliant. You obviously just don't understand Living Colour. They're artists. This is an amazing version.
Their live work seems even better than their (brilliant) studio work.
...just less easily digestible maybe.
"I thought they only like Rap."
shut the fuck up this is worlds beyond even most rock bands at the time and since
you did see the quotation marks, right? Dude, a guy in Germany told me exactly that. I am halb black guy and love all kinds of music. Metal, Indy, Pop, Rap etc. But all the cluster lives most people live also make them ignorant.
Ahahaha
Killed by that bullshit grunge. A fad that lasted 5 minutes. They should've been huge. They had (and have) it all, rock, funk, groove, consciousness, rap, soul and huge talent.
I just wish the guitar player didn't alter things live so much (for the worse) and he's a bit allover the place often in terms of being tight in rhythm etc. Otherwise absolute killer live band, just sucks a bit energy from the songs when they don't sound so tight
No. You just don't understand Living Colour or any other band for that matter. As long as the Rhythm section is tight then the Lead Guitar and Vocals can do what they want. Just Icing on the Cake.
@@ecohippie3544 just because you don't agree with my opinion you say I don't understand any band. Ok lol. I stand by what I said and I work as a full time musician, guitar player and singer so I can just say you are wrong about your assessment about me. I don't know why you felt the need to go personal, but this is the internet after all. Maybe you get a kick out of it. Also Vernon is not only lead guitar, he is also the rhythm. He is part of the rhythm section with his riffs in a sense. And Corey's vocals are incredibly tight in terms of rhythm and phrasing. That is one part of what gives the vocals such a kick in Living Colour. It's more than icing on the cake here
One of those "live should sound studio"-opinions.
Tolerable, but barely.
@@tiltil9442 nope. For example I love Zeppelin live tho Page can def get sloppy. But he is magical in his roughness. I am just not feeling this one. Good for you if you can tolerate different opinions. You are becoming an adult
Sorry but this performance is a train wreck. They must have been sick of playing this song by this time because they butchered it. And I love these guys.
Nonsense. You're just not listening properly.
