My best memory from college was seeing these guys live when they played at my school. Vernon is a genius on guitar, Corey's voice is incredible, and Will is simply brilliant on drums.
Most underrated band in history... Awesome tunes and everyone plays excellent.
I was a stage-hand in the wings during this show. My bass player at the time was working the jib-cab for all those over-the-crowd shots. He was so high all day.
i was at this show.looked at my then girlfriend at the time when i heard the feedback that opens this song and said"i smell desparate people about to jump off."no sooner than i said that,vernon tore into that naassssssssssty run that opens the song.she just turned to me and shook her head and smiled.thats all she could do.that was the start of a CLASSIC show.that was the 2nd time i saw them.they kicked ass both times.
I want them to play again so badly. Two of the most incredible live shows I have ever seen.
I was on the house sound crew for all of the HD DVD series that was done at the World Cafe. Even though all the camera, lights, and gear was rented and hired, and I had nothing to with the mix, I did plug in a lot of those microphones. Thanks for the good cheer. I was in the right wing during this show, haning out with Corey's toddler son.
Saw them yesterday in Prague ... They were absolutely INCREDIBLE !! Truly great band.
Living Colour is incredible. I totally agree that they should get more recognition and the fan base should be a whole lot bigger. But then, it in my library so its cool.

I've followed LC for many years and that was a classic Vernon Ried solo harnonics and all. He indeed rocks. Cory was in fine form also. Philly was on boil that night.
You never see this song on You Tube. This video is awesome and I love this song. It's on the Vivid CD, and it is really a great tune. Thanks for posting.

Along with XTC and numerous other bands, As long as we are here to appreciate the music why should we waste energy on comments about being underated etc. I no longer do, I just like what i like and i really like Living Colour, i Bought all there Albums and went to see them live at leeds in 1993, Awesome

I did the same thing just a couple of hours ago with Elvis Is Dead. Despite knowing a lot of musicians I am quite alone in liking Living Colour. It's just one of these things.

the white/black thing...a little old..music is to be shared and anyone can show anyone else something in regards to music..being a musician i have learned from many people..especially from Vernon, who, when he first got on the scene was a breath of fresh air...I saw a fellow guitar play who did what I thought was possible and I do in my own music (put jazz chords in songs..ex Cult of Personality..main riff is based on a G7 arpeggio and the chorus is a movement of fourths..cool!
