It takes 3 minutes to mine a monolith base to make it explode giving you about 350 stone per. I keep doing this until my elder perk is available again, then I go back, pop the elder perk and chop up all the fallen trees, stack or store the wood. i just want to know what hackery sorcery you used to get your towers (with the bonfires) so round I can only raise ground in squares or diamond shapes. I've tried multiple times to build towers like that and they always look like crap
I don't preserve them. The 26 and 45 degree beams are immune to rain which is what I use for most of my builds. Anything horizontal or vertical will weather but it doesn't bother me. They only go down to 50% health
I like how the coast extends out. Is the surface water lower when it's a clear day or is it lower when the storm comes and shifts the water levels? when is the best time to build out towards the ocean?
I'd never attempt to try and build during a storm. In terms of the best time? Well good weather is the best time. Realistically there is never really a great time to build in the water cause it's a pain in the butt at any time haha.
@@GhostBuilds Because I'm OCD and snapping is the only way to get everything to line up correctly. Shifting things requires multiple attempts to look "correct" and it will still always be off. The more involved a build is, the more obvious a slight misplacement at the start of the build becomes and I'd have to tear it all down to build anew.
@@GhostBuilds Jank I'm forced to deal with that's part of the game's build design. Trying to build patterns by Shifting things just for nothing to line up at all partway through is worse.
@@ForeverLaxx the game favors even numbers for building pieces which is why there are only 1, 2 and 4 meter long pieces, however naturally your eye prefers odd number things. For example on my stream I was building dormers on a roof. On the reference photo for the castle I was building there were 3 dormers. I had to space 3, 1.8 meter wide roof pieces in a space only 12 meters wide. So I had to hold shift to get them spaced correctly. As long as you are precise enough you can still make things line up nicely while holding shift. It just takes some extra thinking and patients but well worth the effort
Right!? me and my buddy play for about 3-4 hours a night and I've spent the last week just trying to build my house how i like it. I'm currently on my 4th design and still trying hahah

You should just keep experimenting and trying new things that's how I started as well don't rush through the game. I built most of this before I even attempted the 4th boss. You got this I have faith in you I'm sure your imagination will eventually open up especially if you take inspiration from other builders good luck and have fun
@@GhostBuilds Thank you :) I look forward to seeing more inspiration from you
hey ferb i know what we're gonna do today
respect
thanks!
2:12 - How do you place mushrooms like this please? :o \o>
Item stands
Horizontal item stands
Oh cool thanks folks :) I didn't know we could do that lol, sank 210 hours into this game so far ! \o>
This ist sooo beautiful ,absolutely breathtaking!definitly best architecture ive ever seen before in Valheim. How Long does It tooks to build this up?
Valheim Morghulis my friend!
when this footage was taken it was at the 400 hour mark
This is a very long time ,respect for that. Hope to See more Projects from you in future!
@@MrSaesh1 subscribe! I post regularly and currently have a Major castle build on the go with regular streams of me building
@@GhostBuilds subs Out ! Sounds good!
the missing beam on the side of the masonic hall bothers me more than it has any right to -
a troll attacked it. i noticed the same missing beam after watching the video
@@GhostBuilds love the builds though i will definitely use some of that roof patterning for my next build!
... then on one day a troll came by
Oh the world we live in..
trolls just stand there bugged out for me. dont even do anything. i think the city is so big im out of aggro from them.
built a mote or a wall from the ground - nothing can get in to your base then. They just stay outside lol
@@isayimok165 true story
I am an architect irl, and i have to say this is just gorgeous man. Well done.
Thanks!
brutally amazing! i made my self some cool stuff, but i saw this and i understand i'm a rookie.. thanks for sharing!
Just keep building, tinkering and experimenting. You'll get better with practice
@@GhostBuilds www.reddit.com/r/valheim/comments/medt0u/so_i_was_hunting_some_serpent_then_i_saw_these/ i made this so far.. xD
@@GhostBuilds thx for support btw! ;)
@@ST3G0NZ0 I actually saw that when u posted it and up voted it good job
Awesome. Hope you will show how to build the raven statues!
There is already a how to build on my channel. Check it out
can you share more vbuild file about this game
Ya but I can only share what I've built and most of what I've built is already out.
could you let us download this world? I found it too incredible !!
I'm slowly compiling vbuild files as I go that I will release. I will be doing feature videos on each structure with a link for download in the description. If you aren't already subscribed consider doing so and you'll see them pop up over the next week or so as I finish uploading all the rest of the content I have
@@GhostBuilds will you make the world available when you finish everything you want to do?
How long until you finish everything. Yes, I am already subscribed, I'm really enjoying your project, wouldn't it be possible for me to make it available in the current state?
@@tiufox692 I won't make my world save file available. But some of the buildings in it will be available. There is not set deadline for completion. I work on it daily (unless I'm doing how to videos then I'm in a different seed)
i am shooketh.
this is stunning, great work!!
Thank you so much!!
OMG!!
Urmahgod!!! lol
You're quite the artist dood. A lot of inspiration here.
thanks i do my best
I wish places like this were in the game scattered around the map with NPC's walking around in them and traders you could sell or buy from as well as people you could get quests from. Something like that would bring so much depth to the game. Places like towns and castles where there are NPCs with side quests would be amazing.
I feel like it would break the unique feeling of the game anf make it just like another RPG. Most of them work as you described it, but Valheim doesn t and that is part of what makes it so exceptional imho
Omg... This is so amazing !!!
Thank you
download link?>
No download for the whole town unfortunately. But I am releasing individual buildings slowly.
@@GhostBuilds Would you be able / willing to release the world file?
@@yndrelbosch3678 not the entire city. its too much to load in and causes a lot of lag. the average computer will struggle with this. my build is upper mid tier and still struggles. I will be releasing buildings over on my valheimians.com profile though (there are already a few released). Look out for the showcase videos I upload, they have links in the descriptions for the download link.
@@GhostBuilds mm, I just thought that it'd be nice to release the .fwl file for people who would want to give it a shot at least. It truly looks amazing, and I doubt anyone could achieve the same effect just by plopping down random buildings wherever.
How do you do that camera trick flying through the air like that. I see so many people do vids in this game using a free cam.
You have to enable console in the game and use the devcommands command then freefly. I also use a command to smooth out the camera.
GAHHHHH!!!....Thanks for making my builds look like monkeys flinging poo at a wall....amazing and creative!
Lmao. Thanks. Don't beat urself up. Just keep experimenting. You should have seen my first house ever.... It was well.... Kinda sad really
Just incredible, love eagles and liberty torches and sun clock. So many cool ideas that i will definitely copy :oP (New World should do the same :oD)
Check my channel there are how to build videos of them
I've been wanting to do a build it would be elevated to a point that you could have passage underneath with the ship. Basically an "underground" dock. I have an area on my server that gives me a good start but a LOT of pickaxing will be needed. Then building a lot of buildings on top to get the effect. It'd be a neat build. In my mind at least.
give it a go. you should be good if the ground is high enough up that you can make a tall enough passage for the boat. or even be able to build up tall enough for the boat to fit. id be interested in seeing that
Hm...somehow i want to build a imperial city from Oblivion, but i know my Pc cant hande it :D
Well any pc realy due to enging limits right now.
Maybe Burma.
Look up the frame rate increase tricks for valheim. You can pull more frames out of the game. I had to do them for this video to make it smoother
That portal hub is my personal favorite. The curvature you work into your build is amazing! I'm excited to see what new tools the hearth and home update will give us!
I'm also excited for it but I feel like it might just be decorations
By Odin's beard, it's amazing
thank you
This is amazing!
Thank you
Beautiful build. Any way I could come visit to see it 'in person'? Hahaha I'd love to walk around to get ideas for my builds...
Sure thing!
4:34 what's the scarecrow made of?
Wraith tropy
400 hours is intense. Place is amazing. Hope you have a vbuild at least for yourself.
i am releasing buildings slowly for buildshare, check my showcase videos out they have download links. I backup this world nightly so i dont lose anything
i just want to know what hackery sorcery you used to get your towers (with the bonfires) so round I can only raise ground in squares or diamond shapes. I've tried multiple times to build towers like that and they always look like crap
I have a tutorial on it on my channel, they aren't actually round
The 8 dislikes was from the framerate
Probably people who are triggered about the church
@@GhostBuilds LOL
I'm the Will Ferrell "dear God" meme watching this. Well done. Well done.
Hey man, amazing work there! How do you preserve your building, is there a cheat code to stop raining?
I don't preserve them. The 26 and 45 degree beams are immune to rain which is what I use for most of my builds. Anything horizontal or vertical will weather but it doesn't bother me. They only go down to 50% health
I like how the coast extends out. Is the surface water lower when it's a clear day or is it lower when the storm comes and shifts the water levels? when is the best time to build out towards the ocean?
I'd never attempt to try and build during a storm. In terms of the best time? Well good weather is the best time. Realistically there is never really a great time to build in the water cause it's a pain in the butt at any time haha.
so beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
thats so cool! you realy should think about to create an RP-Server :D
Rp isn't my thing
I won't have builds like this because I hate using the shift key to "unsnap" things.
why do you hate doing that
@@GhostBuilds Because I'm OCD and snapping is the only way to get everything to line up correctly. Shifting things requires multiple attempts to look "correct" and it will still always be off. The more involved a build is, the more obvious a slight misplacement at the start of the build becomes and I'd have to tear it all down to build anew.
Doesn't it bother you that even if you snap a 1m post it still sits janky? Lmao.
It just takes some extra thinking and patients but well worth the effort
incredible. i cant even... just incredible. my house looks like a cardboard box
Right!? me and my buddy play for about 3-4 hours a night and I've spent the last week just trying to build my house how i like it. I'm currently on my 4th design and still trying hahah
