In 35 years of riding I've learned one very important lesson, if you get on your bike with no confidence you will ride like shit. Get pumped, get STOKED and you'll ride way better. And always stretch your legs and wrists and drink lots of water so you won't cramp up as easily.
GiraffeInvasion exaclty. I gotta feel it out. My main concerns are the jumps. I want to be able to clear them at some point. But it takes time. A lot of time and practice for sure.
Looks fun. You're definitely right about it being a different ball game bur you did pretty good on the tabletops.I have a kx112. Took it out to elsinore for the first time. And i was the exact opposite. I was ripping the corners wide open but couldn't jump for shit 😂
Lol.... Aye bro everyones gotta start somewhere.... Just remember keep ya line dont drift across ya track cuz someones always gonna be flying up behind you..... With arm pump just do some stretches.... Hold ya arm out straight and pull ya hands bk towards yourself before you ride get that old bloof out and new blood in..... Great video
I went to a track for the first time last year after riding my bike around 3 times so I was new a to a bike and a track. I crashed loads 🤣🤣 they told me to go on the easier track.
@@TheClassyRacer lmfaoooo I know it’s not recommended but Ima take it slow, it used to be my daily driver as a supermoto and I just got it back to a dirt bike so I’m gonna go to the track and roll around
Hey bro what gear were you mostly in. Because I ride a Yamaha ttr 125, but I’ve never been on a track and with everything should I mostly be in 2nd a 3rd gear?
Well that day I don't think I got out of first lol. But now a days Id say mostly 2nd and 3rd. But this a 450, on a 125 you probably need to go as fast as possible to clear jumps. When I go on my 250, I need to hit jumps in 4th.
GiraffeInvasion yeah that’s what’s I’m skeptical about because I didn’t know what gear would be good because I need good power on a 125. And ik I need power to clear the jumps
You need technical work, like body position etc and a better understanding of throttle/gear RPM range. It was painful to watch, but you did it man! Keep at it.
Well, if that does happen you have to not let it embarrass you. And I’m 15 on a 250 that I rode once. Never track. Super nervous but just have to have confidence. Ask the office.
I'm goin through the same thing dude. Came from trail riding and just started riding track and it's tuff. Especially the rutted corners.

That’s the best comment I’ve seen this far 💯 true facts
@@bikerLK1 Thanks bro, I learned that the HARD way haha
Haha looked like fun! Thanks for sharing!
Yeah so much fun. Im hooked. Gone three weeks in a row now. Getting the hang of it.
I know the feeling bro! You did better than me on my first time lol
That was freaking awesome! Seriously cool. You did great man!
Scott

I rode on a mx track today and rode the exact same as u 😂 practise makes perfect
Same haha but a different track
Thanks for the video. It makes me less worried to go ride on a track for the first time after watching you. 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Just remember you have to go ate your own pace and in a few laps you'll be getting the hang of it.
GiraffeInvasion exaclty. I gotta feel it out. My main concerns are the jumps. I want to be able to clear them at some point. But it takes time. A lot of time and practice for sure.
Tyler T i just wonder do you ride track this day today? Bc i wanna buy a ktm sx85 and ride on tracks!!

Dude this video was awesome!! Thanks for sharing!!
Hey not bad dude🤙 rode better than I did my first time haha
Your the man! Straight up motivation to hit the track. I forsee me acting exactly the same.
Thanks! Yeah you just have to get out there, once you're on the track you feel a lot better.
You should give gas all the way on the jumps then the front wont come down ;)
U fell with the bike tho! Nice job, nice and safe crash.
Haha sick little video bro. Love the honesty when about to attempt the vet track.
Yeah I didn't even know that was the easy track.
As long as you have fun and have a laugh that’s all that matters haha. It was a good video to watch man. 👍 keep it up.

Makes me feel better watching this! I order moto gears can’t wait give it a try soon! Sweet riding on jumps honestly!! 👊🏼
I raced in first first race and came third in b class.
Keep up the good work
Funny because it was my first time at the track today I had a blast with my experienced buddy
Have the same pants and jersey 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Good to see someone as bad as I was haha. Hoping my 2nd trip goes better
Man my first time I fell like 9 times 😭
My first time was today and i fell only twice supprisingly
I fell like 5 times and faceplanted my first time 😕
@@screwedupmystic2597 knocked my goggle lens right off when I face planted 😂
@@Kazdua your lucky it’s crazy because I couldn’t even feel the pain of falling but then I woke up the next day and could feel it lmao
I’m thinking about going to a track this weekend. Nervous as hell! Don’t know how the people are gonna be with a noob on the track😂
Most people are cool. Don't cut people off. You will be roosted a lot if you're slower than everyone. But its all fun.
Fkn awesome dude💪
I love this sports i never been ride a dirt bike but ilove this fucking sports..nice one bro i hope someday i have a dirtbike
What bike is that
Bro I wanna try but I’m scared to ride track
The hardest part is just getting on the track. Once you get going you gain confidence after every lap.
Fuck I’m scared but exited for my first time😂 And im starting a yz450f too lol
I would not start on a 450 if i were u but i weigh 58kg so a 125 is enough for me 🤣🤣 as long as u have fun
@@TheClassyRacer lmfaoooo I know it’s not recommended but Ima take it slow, it used to be my daily driver as a supermoto and I just got it back to a dirt bike so I’m gonna go to the track and roll around

Truly is. Scary but fun.
Nice first run bro! Btw what track is this
Thanks. Its Fox raceway

Say I come around a turn in 2nd and the jump is coming up should I shift to 3rd and get some really good speed
@@Jake-il1hx I guess it would depend on the jump size. Of you find yourself not clearing the gap then you do have to go faster.
GiraffeInvasion oh also when you’re riding and you come to a turn do you down shift or keep going to try to build up spee
Haha remember my first time
2020: Question.... Before you did this day, where did you ride your bike ?!
Just the trails in my other videos.
@@GiraffeInvasion Word !!! And thanks for the other reply man.
I think Vet track is the easy track.. Means more like old man track then it does pro/veteran.
Yeah. I didn't know that then.
You need technical work, like body position etc and a better understanding of throttle/gear RPM range. It was painful to watch, but you did it man! Keep at it.
The vet track is easier than the main veteran dose not mean best the vet is for beginners
More practice bro
Best way to embarrass yourself, can’t get your bike started.i want to go on a Mx track but don’t know if they let 125cc bikes( I’m 14) on tracks
Well, if that does happen you have to not let it embarrass you. And I’m 15 on a 250 that I rode once. Never track. Super nervous but just have to have confidence. Ask the office.
vet track is easy
