Part 2?
As a mother of a 9 year old I wasn't able to be much of a mother in his life for 6 years so this video hit pretty close to home for me. Even tho it's only from a video game the stories that you bring out in this game are so amazing. Love this one so much!
But you’re there now 🩷 I was a shit mum the first few years of my eldest’s life. I grieve for that time and feel bad about it often. If his dad had been any good he would’ve been better off with him for the first couple of years while I got my shit together - but he wasn’t any good sadly 😂 so my son was stuck with me.
I still feel like shit about that fact often, especially now I’ve had a second child who’s now 2 and she’s had such a different experience of being a toddler than her big bro had. He had the teenage, unhealed, messy, crap version of me and I hate that. He deserved so much better that what little I could give him back then.
But all we can do is be the best we can be now and make it up to them by being there every day x
@beelzebabe4441 that's actually really inspiring to hear. My ex husband (my son's father 😅 ) took custody of him away from me. At the time I was not mentally stable enough to be a good mother to him. When it came to me he got the shitty end of the stick and his father has been a much better parent than I ever was. His dad and I have actually become really good friends with each other and thus it's allowed me to spend more time with our son. For now I feel more like his friend than his mother but I've done my best. I'm still trying to get my shit together but that part is a work in progress. Still to this day after 6 years my son is such a momma's boy and I've been enjoying every moment I get to have with him and even he loves it.
Thank you for sharing your story. It's good to know I'm not alone in this type of thing. 💜

@beelzebabe4441 yeah, my ex did a lot of bad things but one of the very few things he got right was being a good father to both of his kids and I respect him for it.
You're trying and that's what's important!! ❤ I'm sure he loves you so much and is happy to have you now ❤️❤️❤️
We really need someone to mod AA meetings or rehab for Sims 4. When the sim goes to the AA meeting they just cry or get angry...or both and just talk too much. The sim could get achievements or goals when they get coins.
I’m pretty sure the drug mod allows rehab
