    I was telling my husband tonight how I was feeling anxious and not into doing any yoga. He looks over at me and says "you know what Adrienne would say, just show up on your mat!" It was cute because he usually just listens to me doing your videos in the background. I then logged in to find this great practice. I feel so much better, thank you!

    Yo, placebo or not, the results of this practice were hella spooky. Halfway through, during a forward fold my eyes welled with tears and I had the thought "you are worth more than the space you occupy" run through my head. Then, during the last minute or so of the practice, I felt the distinct urge to use the restroom, no doubt to rid my internals of unsavory matter wrung loose from the poses...and, weirdly enough, all at once my period started, which has been exactly two weeks late (stressing me out, no doubt, but irregularities are normal when recovering from a miscarriage). Adriene, thank you. Your practices are so helpful and friendly. I often get turned off of guided practices because I feel the instructor is sort of smug, almost holier-than-thou about it, trying to be covertly sexy and supreme. You are genuinely trying to help your followers have better yoga practices without putting on airs or trying to prove yourself in whatever way. You have a beautiful soul, and I thank you.

      the same thing happened to me. couldn't stop the tears, very powerful and empowering feeling, its amazing to realise we are not alone again and again and again every day

      What a beautiful testimony! I too get emotional if I have been stressed and do a detox set. I swear I can feel the toxins/hormones/bad juju leave my muscles and exit through my breath on the exhale. This was really a nice flow today. Thank you for sharing and reminding that it is normal and healthy to let it go.

      I'm here doing the same thing. I lost my mojo and haven't practised for about 3 weeks. It's so hard feeling like you're starting again and have lost the strength and flexibility you built up. Feeling more motivated now after reading these beautiful comments.

    For our Sunday practice it’s that slow, slow, mindful purposeful workout, no cobras or upward facing dogs, but steady stretches in a slow flow, breathing deep 😊 this was a simple sequence for this senior yogi and very satisfying. I really enjoyed the forward fold in this one 🤔👍 see you tomorrow on the mat for Day 11 🙏🧘🏼‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️🧘🏻‍♂️💕

      I wasn’t going to do a practice today. Bad visit from my demons. But I felt like I wanted to check in to see how you are doing.
      I didn’t like the sound of this one, but I like what you said about it being slow. Then I saw the extra 🧘🏻 and I know it’s a safe one for the likes of me.

    A shout-out today to the delightful grocery store cashier, who happened to have moved to NC from Austin. I told him that I followed a yoga teacher online who was from Austin, and he immediately responded, “You do Yoga with Adriene?” It turns out he is a yoga teacher himself and has so much respect for you, Adriene!     Sometimes the practice may be good / flowing w ease
    Sometimes the practice become a struggle / finding that striving and judging within as the poses may not sit well
    Still we allow the space of Flow as we stay w our intentions ... even if its taking a pause on the video , drink some water, wipe our sweat, or modify how we accept our minds/bodies to the pose that serves me/us at the moment

    I did it! I actually stood in Eagle, for the first time! I couldn’t stop smiling for the rest of the video (and hopefully it lasts all day!) because while I had loving guidance, standing there focused and strong was all me. Even when my ‘helpful’ cat headbutted my foot I didn’t lose my balance! I often struggle to give myself credit for my own achievements and to believe in myself, but today showed me that I am strong and I can do incredible things all under my own power.

    I feel like this practice was custom-made for me and the day I have had today. I got hit in the face with a pretty intense migraine this morning and it just drained my energy - so it was quite hard for me to show up on the mat today. However, during the practice I could literally feel the pain and the negative energy leaving me - and with every pose I felt stronger. It is so remarkable to end up standing smiling on the mat only 20 minutes after feeling absolutely miserable. For me, today, a little really did go a long way

    I'm saving this one to return to. So good. Could feel the energy flowing down my arms into my hands. After nearly five months of almost daily yoga, I have much more strength, flexibility and stability. But, most importantly, yoga has become a "feel good" habit. Thanks Adriene!

    I have been doing yoga with you everyday this year. Today I did my best Eagle arms EVER! The irony is my right shoulder was hurting terribly when I went to bed last night. This practice was just what the body ordered 🙏

    That was a really good yoga practice, I struggled a bit but I did it , and feel better for it . Earlier this week I thought I had a cold and that was hard enough, but I did my yoga and Carried on , I have since found out I don't have a cold I have covid 19 instead, but even though I have covid I managed to do my yoga practice today and I will carry on my beautiful yoga journey. Thank you Adriene for always being there , and getting me though hard times . See again tomorrow, Namaste ! 🙏

    Root day 14. April 2023. Great to come back to this. Did Nourish day 5 on FWFG first, so was nicely warmed up. Definitely feeling stronger and more balanced.
    Motivate day 20. March 2023. Back to work after the long weekend. This was challenging, good twists and needed strength. Ready for whatever the day brings.

    Hey Adriene! I am a dr who is just starting right after med school jumped right into ppe and covid as situation here worsens the hours in ppe are horrid not just physically but a lot mentally. I do detox yoga everyday after work in isolation it helps me keep my sanity . I can't thank you enough for everything ❤ ♥ God bless u

    This brought some welcome heat after yesterday's short ease into bedtime. At the end, when doing eagle pose, I generally can wrap but for the first time I can remember, my left toes wrapped all the way around to the left side of my right leg. That was nice but thenI lost my focus point enjoying that! Start again.

    Haven't been so diligent in my yoga practice since the semester started and I got busy again, but I've been deciding to just go for it, even if it means having to get ready rather quickly afterwards. So I am finding myself stiff and struggling at things that had become smooth and relatively easy in the past. However, I will not become discouraged, for it is okay to be where I am. I am here, and I am grateful for the power that I find despite the struggle. I am strong!

      We all hit those days. And at worst, you can always switch out days. Occasionally, I have even split longer sequences before and after work. Just keep meeting your mat each day.💜🙏

      Also sometimes you may need to do something different for your daily practice. Like yesterday I went for a hike in a state park instead of doing yoga or meditation.

    Hi! I just wanna share that today’s yoga really allowed me to exceed my limitations. I have been feeling really empty lately but I told myself to constantly do yoga everyday - a reminder to myself that yoga is at least one thing I can hold on to. Every end of the practice I choose, I practice poses like the crow pose and such. Today, I decided to practice the wheel pose again. I started yoga this year, I am not flexible nor am I strong and I haven’t done this pose even when I was a child. But today, I just did it! I did not give too much thought when I was doing it that’s why it shocked me that I was able to push myself from the yoga mat. I would’ve cried if my brother wasn’t in the same room XD. Life’s been tough on me lately, but my yoga today taught me that even things you thought are tough for you can be conquered. Thank you for the videos you make Adriene! To everyone who’s had it tough lately, don’t worry too much. It’ll all pass and you can conquer it!

    This one I always find enjoyable, although today, I had to pause briefly at eleven minutes because there was a slight pull below my right knee. Felt fine afterwards and I finished without any issue. Flow day 5. 578 days in a row

    Renew day 18. After full weak of mellow practice, I dreaded and excited at the same time for this practice. But either way I’m happy that I managed to get on the mat, because that’s still the most difficult part about the practice. Whoever reading this, I wish you for an awesome practice

    Wow today I just felt lost and sad and Burnout and didn’t feel like doing any type of movement but I told myself yoga is a soft so I took my mat outside and did this detox yoga and wow I feel lighter, my shoulder pain went away and headache went away.. yoga really is magical now I have the motivation to go for a little walk and read my book that I have been putting to the side!     I love this flow, that makes me feel lighter after the practice. I love the integration of the breath to the movement that get the juices flowing. And for this I am grateful.

    Adriene, what a lovely practice for me today. I have been surrounded by forest fires here in Oregon for the past week, with hazardous air to breathe and I felt a nudge to do this particular practice to rid my body of toxins that I have inhaled. I have not exercised for a week because they suggest not to, so this is one of the few things I have done to move my body. Thank you for this nourishing practice and I pray for all of us to be safe and have a healthy environment to live in. Hugs!

    Re doing this flow is having different experiences/relationship which is so empowering and enlightening! M doing this (very timely!) after my 3rd booster jab (having major side effects...) so this is REALLY doing the Detox of body & mind. Feeling more 'me' and refresh! Thanks with much appreciation.     I always panic slightly when I see that a flow is on the calendar - I'm usually a bit sleepy and am craving gentle stretches! However, once I start I often surprise myself at what I can do.     Wow! 23min flies by.
    The breathwork was stimulating, the double hip width forward fold with twists was revitalizing as was the one legged pose with arm bind.
    20min later, and I feel such a deep relaxation and sense of serenity!
    Thank-you for being so kind to us Adriene, the world needs more of what you are providing!

    Blessed Beloved Beauties! Day- 5 of the flow journey is what I needed, yet not what I wanted. It's been a long two weeks: emotionally, spiritually, and physically. I need more rest.😴 I wanted something softer, however, the universe directs us accordingly. There were things I needed to let go of, so irrelevant baggage 🧳 has been released. Best wishes everyone!       Was feeling exactly the same and thought about repeating yesterday’s super short sun salutation, but hopped on the mat at the end of a really long day and feeling not wonderful, and hey presto 23 minutes later was feeling awesome and realised. Thank you all x

    Adriene, I was sitting on my bed getting ready to sleep (in Australia) and thinking about depression and how I was feeling. Then I got your email and it was exactly what I needed. A detox, a renewal, a way to get back into how I was feeling last month, but had let myself lose. I kept thinking, I will get back into tomorrow, the next day, the next week. But I got out of bed and did this practice and I honestly feel reinvigorated. I know that I need to keep going, to feel better about myself. Thank you for always seeming to know just what I need, and it's a beautiful experience to read the comments here and know I'm not alone in how you help people.

    I am staying over at a friend's house today and doing yoga in her living room. It is really hard to maintain focus and a neutral being. I tried very hard to immerse myself in Adriene's words and the motions+breath, but occasionally, I still feel an inkling of embarrassment or ego. I hope to one day, be able to practise peacefully regardless of my environment.

    today’s practice done on:
    * 5/5/22: idk when I go into a forward fold and hold (like we did in the beginning) and then slowly coming up is my favorite, i love feeling the blood flow from head all the way throughout the body. idk something about just hits the right spot. anyway flow day 5 🌊
    * 3/21/23: “out with the old, in with the new” as I am getting ready to go back to school 😅❤. motivate day 20
    * 4/15/23: the twists were much needed in this peractice. “detox” my body from the 🍺 last night. root day 14

    I just did this one just after coming back from a hike and wow! This combined with having just been out in nature has resulted in the perfect combination for a head and heart reset.
