If you want the base cooked proper, leave the rack in the oven and put the pizza on it while its hot., ei transfer the pizza on the hot rack then put it inside the oven
So it looks like you have the same countertops oven as I did the one that just bit the dust . The Gourmia air fry counter top. Are you still using that one?

15 minutes for a pizza is too long, it could come out dry or burnt in top. I’m trying to find a small oven that works as well as a Lincoln impinger or Blodgett pizza oven. (both classed as Air impinger ovens) They are both fan forced from the top and bottom, not just hot air swirled around randomly. I have the two commercial ovens of the Lincoln & Blodgett, both conveyor ovens, at home and they are excellent pizza cookers but the heat up time before you can start cooking is 15-25 minutes. Pizza is cooked to a retail standard in around 6.5 minutes but it’s a whole lot of gas or electric energy for only 1-4 pizzas at one time. If you happen to know of a small air impinger type oven, please let me know. I thought this Ninja may be the one but seems it’s Not.
Yeah, unfortunately, it's the dough cooking time that takes long. I agree that sometimes the top is too well done, but if I take it out sooner the dough is always undercooked. I've now started to cook the dough a little, then add my toppings. I have started seeing some Pizza makers arriving in the market, Costco has one, quite expensive, but I'm sure more will come out soon, I'll try to keep a look out and see if I can get my hand on one to review. My son is a daily Pizza eater, so I'd love to find one that cooks fast too! Thanks for your comment!
The Broil function is awesome on this thing! We use for broiling cheese and I also like to make burgers using the broil function because of the high heat. 🔥👍🏼
I saw a reply from the manufacturer "the Ninja Foodi Digital, Toaster, Air Fryer, with Flip-Away for Storage Multi-Purpose Counter-top Convection Oven is approximately 15 inches high when it is flipped up for storage." Your review says it's 19.7." I even saw a video demo and is clearly under 15 inches when flipped up, not 19.7." Thanks!
@morganp79 honestly, EVERY toaster oven is a pain to clean, trust me! I've had a few. This one is actually easier than others to clean only because you can open the bottom and get access to the top and the sides. The only time I use this is for toast or pizza... I never broil or air fry because the grease goes everywhere and yes it is a pain to clean. For air frying I use my Gourmia or my Ninja Grill (depending on what is out on my counter!)
I usually wipe it a damp cloth, but if it does get a little greasy, I use a little Cif/Jif/Vim (not sure what it's called where you are) cream cleaner.
You don't have a ton of subscribers yet, but your reviews are pretty dang insightful and complete. Keep up the good work and it'll come!

I would guess they left the handle on the side instead of the center so it could clear lower cabinets easier.

I haven't tried the Gourmia Oven unfortunately, only the Gourmia Basket style air fryers.

What function did you use for pizza? Bake or Air Roast?
Bake. Air Broil will only cook on top. Since I needed to cook the base too I did Bake.

would a silicon liner not help like the ones you get for the ninja dual air fryer they've saved me hours of cleaning as the pans are hard to clean
