@S0ur pikmin will always be around doing things better and more efficient than the first time. So even if you already know a lot there is always the fun of improving dandori. There is also a whole slew of dandori challenge like missions in mission mode. Those alone are worth playing the game for. I must say, comparing how this video seems to have performed to your usual is quite impressive considering how niche Pikmin is. Hope anything else outside your usual brand can perform well too, this was top quality!
I feel like most of my issues with the game could be so easily fixed with adding a few extra features. It'd be really nice to have a hard mode that increased the health, quantity, and difficulty of enemies, as well as banning collin from speaking ever again. A new game plus would also be nice, I feel like it would be fun to replay the game with the underutilized items like the lineup trumpet. Additionally, any form of DLC content would really help the game. There was some paid DLC for Pikmin 3 so it isn't completely out the window. They could either add some extra dandori missions, or they could do a full-on new area. The way the game ends makes it completely possible for new content to be added. This would fix the problems with late game upgrades and could also add some more difficulty. It could also make the heavily underutilized winged and rock Pikmin a little more prominent. Nintendo is kind of an enigma with this stuff though, so I wouldn't get your hopes too high.
Loved the game and have started a 2nd playthrough to try to get a better day count. My biggest gripe isn't the difficulty (Pikmin has never been hard, even when Pikmin 2 is at its trolliest, it's an "easy to play, but hard to master" series), but that every game seems to slip further and further away from the narrative feel of the original Pikmin, where you were a stranded survivor on a planet full of EXTREMELY dangerous wildlife, with only a small population of prey animals as your ally. Pikmin 4 is basically the cute and cuddly planetary explorer game that Pikmin 1 love to pretend is only a surface-level interpretation. And the introduction of the dogs as captains to the series just makes everything even less scary, since the dogs can solo any boss in Pikmin easily. Pikmin 4 is a lot of fun, but Pikmin 1 is still the undisputed GOAT in terms of what Pikmin can and should strive to be.
This makes me want to see you play Minecraft Legends, amazing game and actually seems to be inspired by pikmin, also EXTREMELY hard. Like, especially doing it alone like you would with stuff like lava lakes and extra aggressive pigs, I could see you having as much a ball as I did

It says a lot how my only real complaint with this game is the Auto Lock-On feature. Could've gone without it. Actually, I'd go as far as to say SHOULD'VE gone without it. Or at least have made it an option. It really did more harm than good.
I remember a theory that states that space-time around PNF-404 is distorted due to 2 ( or 4, depending on how you view Pikmin 4's chronology) Chronos Drive warps from the SS Dolphin, 6 Chronos Drive warps from the Stock Ship, 1 Chronos Drive warps from the Side-Stories re-entry ship, 2 Cosmic Drive warps from the SS Drake, and now we add 2 complete and 1 aborted Hyper-warp from the SS Shepard, and 1 Hyper-warp from the SS beagle. (And possibly 2 additional SS Dolphin Chronos Drive warps, depending on how you view Pikmin 4's chronology). I would also like to add that the Stock Hocotate ship is in a notable states of dis-repair, which may result in a more unstable Chronos Drive for 4 of its 6 jumps. Also, due to unclear narration, it is possible that the SS Drake was forcefully ripped or knocked out of its arrival Cosmic Warp by the Crashing Anomoly that encompasses PNF-404
But the Chronos Drive is clearly the main type of starship engine for every civilisation in space. If that few uses can distort the timeline around a distant isolated planet, how much worse would it be around a major hub of space travel where hundreds of ships in all kinds of states of repair are used every day? You'd think it'd be a known problem.

Awesome run! It seems like Pikmin is getting more attention from new players after 4's release, so here's to hoping it doesn't take another decade for Pikmin 5 to be released!
