@@PowerCertAnimatedVideos Wait, i'm a bit confused, what is the difference between a hotspot and a wireless access point? Don't they do the same thing?

@@ANURAGMANDAL20 Yeah that was awesome too!
God you’re good! I just searched for an explanation of Router & Modem earlier. Then when the explanation was so clear, even I as a nurse could understand, I began watching your other videos... and... as before, they are so clear. I’m likely going to watch a bunch more tonight. You’re answering questions about computers I never thought I’d understand! Excellent stuff, THANKS 🙏!
Oh, BTW, I wonder why Xfinity/Comcast doesn’t offer Mobile Hotspot capability? In our vacation home, Xfinity is the only provider in town, but they sure charge enough & go down faster, than Verizon seems to in our city home, just 110 miles away. I wonder why!
Just wanted to applaud you on your channel. I'm learning so much in an easy to ingest way. Keep it up!
Your videos are great and have helped me alot! They are always easy to learn from.
I had a question concerning the difference between a hotspot and an access point. After watching this video, I think that things are clearer: a hotspot is a place where a device called an access point delivers wireless connection to the internet to the public that is within its range. So, hotspot -> place/ access point -> device.
You are simply the Best Visual Instructor among your peers, you have positively enabled and affected a lot of life in the tech world. your animated videos take away fear and anticipation of exams because a candidate can visualize the problem and apply the solution as taught. on behalf of others, though unknown but I believe will agree with me. I am just asking could you please make videos on Cloud Computing, AWS, AZURE OR GOOGLE. I am sending a big thank you in anticipation of your saying yes.

That's been a standard feature on pretty much all major smartphones for at least a decade. Its not exactly a new thing.
To use a VPN on public Wi-Fi, the proprietor either needs to have LT2P, PP2P, or IPSEC forwarding enabled.
Turning any one of them off will disable the users' ability to use a VPN.
I wanted to know about processor of both pc and mobile in detail...plz....
Thank you for this channel....
I’ve been waiting for you PowerCert 👨.
what's the software for monitoring the number of the people that are connected to the hotspot during certain moment?
I still come back to these videos
Lmao the soul reason I watched this was to learn the difference between cellular data and hotspot data xD. Also I used to think phones had a router built into them and that was what a hotspot was, good times (:
Well the cell phone does technically have a router built in, but its a software router. Its not a hardware router like most people are used to seeing.

Hi,
I am thinking of setting up a public hotspot connecting a maximum of 100 devices. Currently I have a Ubiquiti AC Pro Access Point which has a capacity of 200 connections. It is limited to about 50metres.
Because I do not want to limit people to the vicinity of my house, I want to add a range extender. TP Link has a 1Km range extender.
Ubiquiti has a free hotspot manager software that allows the creation and management of vouchers, I would like to use this software.
But with the addition of the range extender, will I not be limited to the number of connections the extender can host and also limited to managing the network over the extender?
From videos I watched on RUclips, it seemed that an extender cannot carry over the settings of the existing network and that one must setting the extender SSID
Great video :) I have a question. How does vpn provides security from hackers?
A VPN is external server which hides our i.p and device address from the destination website (also you mentioned provides encryption)
I think it cannot provide security if a hacker is connected to the same hotspot because a hacker is a part of LAN and can communicate with all the devices on LAN even if we are not connected to internet.
Am I right?
Good video. Thank you
Sir please please please please do videos of ccna new syllabus .routing and switching
