awesome vid .. thanks
Now i can completely understand what those numbers means :) i was not sure what the PC3-12800 was standing for , i always though it was some kind of product model code.
PowerCert Animated Videos please explain 2G 4G and what difference between them? Thanks. Your video is very helpful to me.
I'm pretty dimm, thanks for ramming this into my head.

🤦🏽♂️😂
Thanks for your patience and going through the video entirely.
I see that you are non-volatile type.
**thanks for ramming this into my memory
This is the best IT channel in all of youtube, it's ahead of time over power point presentations.
smooth transitions.
I’m in my first week of my certification class for information technology and I can’t thank you enough for creating these videos. They have been an excellent addition to my textbook readings and is helping me understand things they were not making sense to me. These videos are wonderful, and once again I thank you!
Accidentally discovered your channel and I'm loving your videos.
Just a really well put together video that covers all the bases on what, when, how, and why as it relates to RAM and does it in an easy to understand way. It really brought me up to speed and I'm so thankful for you guys. Keep up the good work!
Thank you PowerCert. Yet another brilliantly crafted video. The animations, accurate content and clear delivery make these the best instructional videos I have ever seen! You should be very proud of yourselves. Keep up the good work.
Proud of yourself * Hes a one man army.
One of the best vids to explain such tech terms without sounding difficult.
More than halfway through the video, I say to myself, 'this is a really good video.' I was looking for video instead of finishing a very technical section in a reference book. Your video did not disappoint. This was a pristine presentation of technical terms and parts, but done in a well-broken down way. Thanks.
I'm trying to build my first PC and this was definitely the best video that thoroughly and easily explained all my RAM questions. GREAT JOB!!!
This is awesome. You have the greatest and clearest explanation on RAM. I can clearly tell you put your audience in mind and first and foremost. This is the first video of yours I watched, and I'm really happy to stumble into your channel. I'm very excited to see your other videos. Thank you.

You make my life so much better the way you demonstrate videos
Like what everyone else said, this is perhaps the best explanation of RAM I've ever seen or heard. Keep making these enormously helpful videos!!
I had watched this video a year ago without any context , and now i have this chapter in syllabus. For the whole day i was searching for this video like a mad man!!
Finally found this! I'm in tears!!
I didn't feel stupid when I watched this. Love it!
Same!!
I'm just binge watching your videos and I really love it how simple & straightforward these are.
this video is brief and informationally, incredibly informational, im impressed
Wow, your attention to details are amazing. Keep up the good work, subbed!
Best ever RAM explanation video i have come through,, suprbb videos... u guys are super awesome. !!!!!!
This video is terrible. Anybody watching it will know the correct facts but be utterly confused about the actual logic, physics, and mechanics involved.
@@dowskivisionmagicaloracle8593 It's more of a historical take on rams, not on it's real functioning which is what the title suggests tho
@@dowskivisionmagicaloracle8593 look at his name... Kumar Dewasish. For their standards this is over the top xD
Tbh i expected an in-depth technical analysis of the Von Neumann architecture, not an introduction to how a DIMM looks like, title is somewhat misleading.
@@dowskivisionmagicaloracle8593 he doesnt talk about L1 L2 L3 cache. this is very uncomplete video
I paid for a course on this stuff, and your video is so much better explained!! Thank you for taking the time to put this up!!
Amazing videos! I wish youtube and your videos where happening when I was in college in the 70's. Maybe I should start working on a time machine, build it, go back in time and take RUclips and your videos with me so I can restart my educational journey all over again. Thank you very much for all your wonderful work! Humanity is in big debt with you.
Did you know my brother your 15 minutes video is best of 1 hour A+ explanation?
Really appreciate your efforts guys for this channel.
The best ever explanation of RAM have to watch it double time to fit this whole lecture in my mind.
One of the most simplest channels, yet so effective in teaching. Thanks for you time!
My computer science teacher gave us as homework to watch this video 5 times lol
Seriously?

Your tutorials are perfect.
Your videos are so good that I rewatch your videos when I'm bored and looking for new content. The RAM one is my favorite :)
Think about that ! Normally, people run away from technical videos when they're bored or tired.
Best tech channel on RUclips. Thanks for all your hard work!
Thank you for helping me understand RAM better.
@PowerCert Animated Videos: Huge RESPECT for your Efforts.!! I feel lucky to gain good knowledge from your videos. Specifically, your animation forces my attention to easily understand the concepts. Thank you for your hard work. Loved it. :-)

Very helpfully to understand the whole Ram from the generation to generation
Thank you for making this! Even after seven years, it's still been really helpful for me.
Hi. Thank you for the video. I would be nice to see it more detailed, including calculations with DDR2, DDR3, DDR4, DDR5, explanations about latency, buffered memory, multi-channel role, reduced voltage meaning, detailed parity control function and a memory controller role. Also, the explanation of SDRAM technologies used.
sir,
yr video on RAM EXPLAINED_RANDOM AXIS MEMORY Is outstanding in all respect like clear explanation, easily understandable lecture and animation videos, technical all information packed, progress in ram development from past to the recent time, superb explanation and Step by step arrangement of facts makes it number 1 video PRODUCED as on to date. This vid as well as all the others on this channel are great.
Why did I just discover this channel? This is amazing
If you are watching this in lockdown believe me you are one of the rare species on the earth who are working hard to achieve something in life .many students are wasting their time watching movies and webseries , etc.
You Guys Makes The Best Tech Learning Videos!! Create On PowerCert!!
Thank you!
I agree, a lot of my questions got answered, now my understanding in computer got my much better... Thank you so much for your time and effort... This is the best video explaining computer and network..... Thank you again
@@PowerCertAnimatedVideos hi
Dude this channel is just lit🔥, knowledge bombs
This is the video I was searching for a long time. Thank you so much for the helpful tutorial.
Great video thank you. What were the technical achievements that enabled the performance boosts from DDR to DDR2, DDR2 to DDR3, and DDR3 to 4? Was it just transistor count? Also, I haven't looked through your playlists yet, but I'd like to see a video on what's happening within the module itself. How exactly are the ones and zeros stored on the chip? What is the structure of the circuits that store the bits? How does the system "know" where to store the bits moved from the hard drive to RAM and how does the processor know where to go within the RAM module to get the program it needs to run?
the explanation is cleared. now iam understand the function of the Ram and how its work
good job baby
Accidentally discovered your channel and I'm loving your videos. Thank you very much.
Best RAM video ever! Watched it plenty of times!!!!
Thanks :)
Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge, may GOD Bless you abundantly
More please. I understand more than the book.
I like your slow delivery. I am going to show this to some Mexican computer technicians that are learning English, so that helps.
The best explanation ever heard on RAM . All your videos are the best. Many thx for the knowledge you share ..
Muito boa a explicação em animação, que continuem fazendo mais vídeos desse para ajudar a quem está iniciando.
Great explanation. However the rising and falling Edge diagram of the ddr is shown incorrectly because the rising and falling edges of the square wave are actually the vertical lines leading to the high or low clock pulse
I’m a front-end engineer and have spent much of my career not knowing this stuff very well. I generally don’t have to look under the hood and if something breaks I have other people to do that for me. However getting an understanding of the tech stack including hardware and server stuff is invaluable. Thanks. Great presentation.
Your explanation is wonderful!
SERIOUSLY YOU ARE THE ONLY GUY EXPERT IN COMPUTERS, thanksssss aloottttttt sirrr for explaining it thoroughly much more better than live explaination, plzzzzzzz make moreeeee moree videos about these components and its working reallyyyyyy helpfulll,

Ok Sir I want to contact with you if possible but plz I'm eagerly waiting for your upcoming videos.
Once again thankkkssss a tonnnn ...
While the capacity of RAM does help in preventing computers slowing down when you have larger Modules, higher RAM Clock rates can also increase performance as well
in general, what should be relation between RAM's clock rate and cpu's clock rate ?
@@rupeshkalantre7128 CPU's have a cap for the memory's max clock rate. Google certain CPU's and you should see it on their specifications.
great explanatory video, thank you!
This channel is pure gold ❤
great video, i like the way u talk cuz i can understand u clearly and english is not my native lenguaje, keep doing more videos with this type of quality
I’ve never fully understood the function of RAM till this video. Seriously the best explanation of RAM by far
Thanks a million for this wonderful tutorial!!!
The Best explanation video on RAM.

Simply excellent .... this channel is excellent!
"all you need to do is increase the amount of RAM on a computer"
My wallet: what did he just say?? 😂😂😂

Come on ram is not that expensive
16 gb for 70 dollars is a good price
I mean look at the game that cost 60 dollars

That's hilarious, dude. I'm totally serious. You're a born comedian.

awesome job dropping some great knowledge my way
Super basic.
Super informative.
Just a few more videos like this and I can be a basic at a tech company.
Thanks
A very helpful videos
Thanks for watching.
wait so if a program requires 3gb ram and you have 2gb it will perform slower? wouldnt it give an error message saying not enough ram?
Depends on the program. A lot of them will give you a message saying you don't have enough RAM. Or, if it does play, it will be slower.
no
Who’s here because CompTIA A+ exam 😅
Great Job!! Nice Explanation Man!
Another fine presentation, thanks !
Wow I've taken some CompTIA courses on ram but this is way better than their explanation
Yeah, I'm working through LabSim and had to come here to get a better understanding. They jump around too much and assume even more. Great video.
please make a video about latency ;-)
What's latency?
LATEncy. It refers to the time it takes for a computer to respond to a certain action. It is often used to describe how long it takes a server to respond after a client sends a request.
Nah
@@xy.sounav ping I think
I think he means CAS Latency. That'd be nice to know more about
