MotoeXotica is offering this fabulous 1969 Buick Electra 225. The rare Gold metallic paint and contrasting dark Brown top look to be in great condition with no major imperfections to be found. Inside, the gold cloth seats all look great with normal visible wear including the door panels and dashboard that are matched to the exterior of the car and show the same wear.
The Buick Electra is a full-size premium automobile that was built by Buick from 1959 to 1990. Harlow H. Curtice, former president of the Buick division and later president of General Motors, named the car after his sister-in-law, Electra Waggoner Biggs.
The year 1969 also brought a major restyling to the Electra 225 models, but continued with the same chassis and inner body structure introduced with the 1965 model, however the wheelbase was increased one inch to 127-inch. The 1969s were also the first to offer headrests as standard equipment due to a federal safety mandate, and the steering column with ignition switch that also locked the steering wheel with the transmission in “Park”, a feature found on all 1969 GM cars one year before it became a federal safety mandate in 1970. Also new was a variable-ratio power steering system combined with revised front suspension tuning called “Accu-Drive”. Other changes included ventless front windows. The same assortment of base and Custom models were offered in 1969 with the “Limited” trim package available on Custom sedans and coupes. Standard finned aluminum drum brakes were again offered and were effective. Dual exhaust was available as an option.
This original 225 has spent it’s entire life with the same loving family. It comes equipped with the original 430 cid carbureted V8 engine and 3 speed TH-400 transmission, both professionally maintained and rebuilt. Matching fender skirts, large whitewall tires, drum brakes, factory air conditioning (currently blowing warm air), and AM FM stereo.
This extremely good looking and well equipped Buick Electra 225, defies showing it’s age! Your neighbors will envy you as well as everyone that lays their eyes on this masterpiece. These Buicks are becoming increasingly hard to find in such solid well kept condition. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
Current mileage on the odometer shows 6,420 it is sold as is and is mileage exempt. The car is being sold on a clean & clear title.

🤯 OMG! That is a beautiful automobile!
I know the whitewalls are not the correct width but I love the way they look.
Wrong white wall tires
What was that paint code???
Yeah i like them Gangster White Walls on that Car nice Oh Yeah
why in the hell would anyone sell a car looking like this
My Dad (RIP) had one, same color, black coach roof, 2-inch white walls, FULLY LOADED, curb turn signals, 455 ci, 4 barrel quadro jet carburator @ 371hp. Power 💺, windows locks ,cruise, leather bucket seats. That car was nice, real nice.
crank windows? I didn't know you buy an Electra with crank windows. next we'll see 3 on the tree manual shift
That is odd for a luxury car. I looked on the "Old Car Brochures" website (if you love old cars check that out) and power windows became standard in 1971.
Tronchadoros car, from matilda.
Michelle Obama brought me here...
Luscious
In 1969 white walls were no longer that width. They look bad in that car and the car looks bad with them
