A damn elegant looking woman giving her all to a song she's very passionate about and it comes across. I remember recording the eurovision in 1993 and everyday I'd come home from School I'd watch her over and over again. I was only ten.

Reading the lyrics this is probably one of the easiest songs in finnish to sing along for people who doesn't speak finnish, it doesn't have a single ä, ö or y.
At one time there was a hypothesis that weird or harsh sounding lyrics are the reason why finland doesn't make it in eurovision so finnish entries were engineered to be just like this.
Finnish has a lot of synonyms and a broad ortography so by selecting suitable words you can make very soft, poetic lyrics sounding like elf language or something that sounds like german or japanese.
