Thank you for sharing your experience! My wife is scheduled for her interview on the 28th and we have less than 20 days to study (we just came back from our vacation and found out our "rescheduled" interview was scheduled 1 month after our initial interview date). I'm helping her study with charts, timelines, and maps.
We were so surprised because we filed 3/19/22 and got out interview scheduled for 8/24/22. We planned a vacationing thinking it would take a year+ for the interview so we rescheduled. I kept telling my wife to study because who knows, the interview can be scheduled within a month+ but she needs to prepare. We came back on the 7th and found the interview letter for the 28th. We are rushing to study now.
Though she is still learning English, I know she'll do great. Wish us good luck.

@@MG-ni3rs No I did not take the oath on the same, they will send a letter with a date. I think it takes a couple of weeks.
Congratulations to you. I already passed my US citizenship notarization last Wednesday 3. I am just waiting for the latter appointment to take a full oath of allegiance within a few months.
How long does it take for the appointment letter for oath of ceremony?

Officer didn’t ask me to take oath before interview instead he asked about the visa that originally brought me to the us. When I cleared that, he then asked me 6 questions which I passed. He didn’t check no documents and only asked I file taxes and don’t owe irs. Thereafter he asked if I would be able to defend the us if there is any war and asked me if I would be ready to take the oath of allegiance. He also asked me if I have ever been arrested or deported. And then congratulations

I did mine on 01/10/23 I did my interview on 06/20/23

If we do not receive the notice for oath before the ceremony, can we print the pdf from the account and bring it to the facility?
I noticed in the message that received on my USCIS account that if I do not receive the notice by a certain date, I can send an e-request. However, if that doesn’t work either, can I print my pdf from my account and bring it to the facility?

My application approved same day. Officer asked questions relating to my visa and why didn’t I continue with what I said I came to do in the US. Later went to the interview and I passed and was approved.

Hello. No there were no vocabulary asked during my interview. I think it varies depending on your field office

Hello, are you allowed to take your cellphone inside for the interview? Especially if you are going there alone?
Hello yes I was able to take my phone with me. Just make sure you put it on a silent mode.
Tonette, did you have your biometrics appointment & interview on the same day?
Hello. They actually re-used my biometrics because they sent me a letter that they re-used my biometrics from my previous application.
Then during the day of my interview they took again my fingerprints and photograph before I got called by the officer
I fail my citizenship exam April 23 I am so upset I pass written, reading, and civis bt he ask N-400 1 questions Definition I don’t understand that’s I will fail.. the officer he give me the paper .. I am waiting for my second interview

Thank you sis! Sa uscis website mismo sis search mo sa tool bar civic test sis. May dalawang version po ng civics test sis. Pero I think as of now 2008 version lahat ang sinusunod po.

Hi. Please refer to the letter that they will send you for your interview details, as per field offices varies. For me, my husband wasn't required to go. Specially this time of pandemic.

Hello sis. Yes po I & the Officer were both wearing mask the entire duration of the interview.
For my reviewer , I am currently making a video of it. But you can also download a copy and print in at the uscis.gov website. I used the 2008 version.

Hello sis! I took the 2008 version. I believe the 2020 version isn't being used as of now.

For anyone who might need the info:
Accomplished interview on the first week of Nov 2022, currently at medium risk for CoVid-19 on the county level.
My husband and I showed up to the USCIS facility with our almost-four-month old baby, we encountered no issues. The personnel who received us after the security check said my two-year old would have been allowed entry had I brought him in with me. Staff were not wearing masks.

Congrats! thanks! did you apply with 90 days window of 3 years or till you have completed 3 years? when did you start count three months ,directly before the first day of 90 days? on which day of 90 days window did you send you package? changing the name do you have any idea , or been asked if you want? thank you so much
Hello. Thank you so much. I applied 90 days before my 3rd year anniversary as a PR. You can check the earliest filling date for you via early filling calculator at the uscis website.
I didn't change name and the officer didn't asked me as well. If you plan to change it you can tell him when your checking and updating the informations on your application. Hope it helps. Good luck!

It took like 2 months in a half to receive a scheduled interview date after applying.

Hi! I paid 725$ in total - 640& filling fee plus 85$ biometrics fee.
For study material, you can download a copy from USCIS website.

Hi tonnete. my interview is approching this Monday March 7.i am wondering f it is ok not bringing my documents n400 application? Bcz I don't have any copy of it, I did filed it online .only that I am seriously worried if it is affecting my interview.
Hi Sis! Did you mean sis the copy of your Online Filed N400 form? If yes, and you filed online you can download a copy of that on your uscis account. There should be the pdf file that you can print.
But if you are referring to the supporting documents you submitted, I strongly recommend to bring it with you specially the original copies.. So just incase the officer asked for it you have it.. Hope it helps & good luck to you ☺️
