  • This is it! I can finally call myself a U.S. Citizen! I still cannot believe it. What a journey!
    I made this video to share how my interview went. I also included the civics questions I was asked for your reference.
    My interview date was December 16, 2022.
    This video was recorded the day after :)
    Trust me, as long as you’ve studied, memorized, and practiced, you should be able to pass your interview.

    Hi I did my N400 in paper and mailed it but never kept a copy of it I’m now I have nothing to go through or check I hope I’ll be okay but congratulations to you!!!

    Congratulations!!! Welcome to the good ol' U S of A. I've applied and a decision should be made in 4 months. Did they take and keep your Philippines passport? Do they take your Green Card, too? Or can you keep both? I ask because I want to keep my Canadian passport, and it seems it's a grey area on "dual citizenship" for Canadians.

      Hi, I submitted my N400 around June 2022, then on November 2022 I received a mail for my interview. Interview date was December 2022 and did the same day oath ceremony. :)

      Here you go!
      1. What is the US National Anthem?
      Answer: The Star Spangled Banner
      2. In what month do we vote for President?
      November (every 4 years)
      3. We elect a US Senator for how many years?
      Answer: 6
      4. Why does the flag have 13 stripes?
      Answer: 13 stripes for the 13 original colonies. 50 stars; 1 star for each US State.
      5. What is one reason colonists came to America?
      Answer: To pursue religious freedom (there are more answers)
      6. Who is one of your stats’s US Senators now?
      Answer: Depends on what state you reside in, best to research and memorize this answer.

    You had CR1 visa before, right? Did you file I-751 before filing N-400?

      No idea, honestly. I guess they wanted to expedite the process. It wasn’t a a choice of mine. They officer decided to do the same day oath.

      I applied for the citizenship 2 years after staying here and right after I applied for permanent residency. Office assistant jobs usually gets paid around $15-$17 an hour depending on your experience
