You Online Professional are so kind to give these lessons. I am a musician of over 50 years. Back in the 60's when I started my folks paid $3.00 for one hour of lessons a week. I continued on through college and used my knowledge mainly for Gospel music, but love every aspect of quality music. Here we are in the 21st Century and the same lessons I had to read and play and pay for are online basically for free. Even with decades of training, I am right here brushing up on Beethoven. Thank You Very Much.
This is awesome. Beginners must not get frustrated. You simply have to learn your scales and inversions. Without these two most important aspects of music you will struggle.
I cant read music and dont understand anything youre speaking about, but the way you've broken it down has made it easier to learn nonetheless. Great vid!
Sería genial que contaras los secretos sobre el vals del minuto, para mi es imposible tocar correctamente el principio tan rápido y seguido repetidamente sin sonar "sloppy" y seguro que tú maestría puede ayudar, sigue así, eres grande.
did anyone else think this was going to be significantly easier than the first movement and then struggle to memorize all the chord changes? Ugh this movement hurts my head. I can only imagine the third movement that is going to kick my ass for sure
Could you do the lesson slowly next time? I’d follow everything you do and I copy what you play. But sometimes you did it a little to fast and unexpected plays that are on the peace of the song. Please do it slowly next time :)
Tension is a bit like suspense if you just keep using tension chances are that your piece will not sound good you need to realease the tension somewhere and that is called release inversions are basically the same chord like for eg: C Major is C E G so its inversion could be G E C OR E G C. In other words tension is a question that someone asks and release is the answer the inversions are the same questions OR answers written in a different way eg: WHAT IS 1+2? : 1+2 IS 3 ANOTHER WAY TO WRITE THIS WOULD BE "IF I ADD 1 TO 2 THEN WHAT WOULD I GET? : BY ADDING 1 TO 2 I WOULD GET 3. Just remember this and whenever you are writing piece always use some variety of chords like TENSION: DIMINISHED AND SUSPENDED (NOT NECESSARILY THESE TYPE OF CHORDS) RELEASE: MAJOR AND MINOR (NOT NECCESSARILY THESE TYPE OF CHORDS) AND THEIR INVERSIONS. Hope this helps!😀😊
I find your tutorials very confusing, I get that you want to teach theory but it becomes a lot. Can’t you just teach the actually peace? Instead of going on a 1 minute rant on how the composer built that one chord?

Thanks so much. Great explanation. I’m going to learn all the chords on the DbM key.
You are welcome! :)
I love this! I usually use Amsodoll but he doesn’t go into the theory so I think that you are my new favorite.
Thank you!
Amsodoll in my opinion is terrible. He does not even teach the whole piece or song. Have you seen how much he taught of movement 1???
This is how tutorials should be done. Awesome work.
Thank you very much for this great video, once more!
You are welcome! I hope it helps.
