  • The Moonlight Sonata 3rd Movement by Beethoven arranged for Piano & Orchestra!
This is the world premiere of the first ever known version of the Moonlight sonata for piano and symphony orchestra. While the piano part remains the same as the original, the orchestra adds colors to the overall mood, so the piece sounds even more deep, relaxing and magical. I really hope you really like and enjoy this music!

For everyone saying he is nervous... Man, I wish I could play 10% his level being nervous. This movement is a Presto Agitato, the pianist cannot chill down. Is flawless, the best version IMHO.

@@czesciek8775 That's very true, and I think Beethoven's point is that this focus on perfection is misplaced. A greater focus should be placed on passion while playing. Of course, the pianist is aiming for perfection, but as humans, they may fall short and that's ok.

@@GeorgiiCherkinI fully agree with the above comment. You don't play the piano in this piece. You use the keys to convey emotions. The level required for that is way beyond piano mechanics. After revisitting baroque and classical musicians over the years..... beethoven is the emotional genius, and music is not just theory but emotion too
Bach is also a genious but he doesn't touch certain emotions that beethoven hits..... pachelbel, vivaldi, corelli, monteverdi and countless others are amazing too

I imagine he's practiced this piece over a hundred times because he plays it beautifully, and every time you retain a little bit more. The memorization isn't the hard part, it's the playing correctly, which he absolutely did

You are also very handsome then and now, but that takes a backseat to your gift.

I hear passion, pain of the soul, dispair...this sonata was dedicated to Julietta Guiccardi, his young student whom he fell in love...love without hope. She was rich. Beethoven proposed, but got denied. Moon sonata was named by German poet Relschtab for the beautiful 1st part. But its not about nature. Its an expression of composer's emotions and love drama.

I've seen many comments about him being nervous. I don't know if he is, but he seems to be and this feels right, because he is supposed to be nervous. The title of this part of the sonata is "presto agitato". "Presto" in italian means "quick" and "agitato" means "nervous", "tense". I think that he is trying to interpret the music and he is succeeding in it. 👏 So no need to feel sorry for him. He is probably enjoying himself, so just feel the music and enjoy too 🎶🙂

Yes, in this concert it was my first attempt to play this sonata with orchestral accompaniment in a full concert hall with more than thousand people. I prepared to be focused as much as possible. Later in my life already performed this sonata much more relaxed, although the difficulty of this 3rd movement always requires the pianist to be focused for playing these fast and difficult passages.

Actually any decent pianist (like 6th year) can read okay the notes with casual speed. But the talent comes from the perfection of this piece, it's so difficult in a way that actually no one can master it in less than half a year. It's a true masterpiece, and this young pianist is gifted
