The fact they fired her knowing full well the man she loved passed away shortly before this in such a tragic way and that they both were the smartest workers they had. They never deserved her work and even tho she never wanted children originally at least she gets to always have a part of the man she loved in the daughter they have.

Exactly! She’s not at any more fault than her baby’s father is. I mean the man that got her pregnant knew just as much as she did that he was about to sleep with a woman he wasn’t married to. And yet they somehow find logic in firing her and ONLY her for getting pregnant out of wedlock, but would not fire the man even though they know the man is also half the cause of her pregnancy.

It takes two to make a baby, so if a company wanted to fire a woman or any person who is carrying the child, then they also have to fire the man or the person who got them pregnant instead of just blaming the person who is pregnant. Name, please?
You should add the film names as it's frustrating when we see something that looks nice to watch, yet dont know the name because you didn't share it. Then we are forced to rely on someone who knows the film and who knows how long that would be?
    So, please, add film names.

I will explain this to you from the eyes of the companies, this is not misogyny, this is about money. Commonly when talking about a pregnancy, companies are obliged to allow you some time off for the pregnancy. This time implies pay without work, they lose money, but why doesn't this apply to men? Easy, at a legal level it cannot be proven that the absence of the father is negative for the baby, very few countries consider absences due to pregnancy for the father to be real (and even if they do, they pretend that it doesn't exist). In that sense, they can force the man to work, not pay for absences and pressure you that your partner can take care of it herself. Absences for maternity, marriage and natural medical issues (such as menstrual periods) are more common in women, no company would want that.
