    I've watched true crime for many, many years from televisions "unsolved mysteries" to today and hands down this is on every possible level the best, most impressive, and thorough policing I have ever seen. The genuine compassion takes it to an entirely different level as well!! Job well done with a level of respect unmatched!!

      Yes, the police protagonists of the case are awesome, but the documentary itself is also very well made, never over dramatic, but never boring. Great job by both police and the makers of this documentary.

      The only question I have is what happened to those friends he had ....whom he committed crimes with ....did they get arrested as well ...? Did I miss something?

      ​@@karinasan7825Good point, but imo this documentation was solely about the crimes of this creep. His other friends who raped young girls together are only briefly mentioned but perhaps they were investigated too and charged and are in prison, hopefully.⚖️

      Yes they are. The News of the World was a nasty rag of a Sunday Newspaper. Owned by Rupert Murdoch at the time. Thank God it was closed down. They could have seriously compromised the investigation with their selfish reporting habits!!!

    Mr. Sutton is a wonderful man. So compassionate, not giving up on the victims. All police investigators should have the same determination to catch a person as he did. Also thankful for his team that stood by him. You all deserve to be so proud of your work. 💙💙

    It's a shame that the police only get criticised. Look at the job they did here. The public never get to know what they have to go through to get their criminals convicted and all the work that goes into it. Thank god for police like this.

    Thank God for the humanity of this officer for asking for kindness for her parents , what a dreadful phone call to receive , what kind of a police force delivers news such as this over the phone ?, not impressive at all.

    Aside how questionable the mental health is of the woman wanting to marry a monster is the issue here is that the punishment is loss of freedoms to enjoy life . A part of that is the freedom to have relationships as normal people do
    What a terrible message to allow a murderer to enjoy such things as marriage when they have destroyed lives

    To all those cofused by the "people carrier" reference, a people carrier is defined as a large family car similar to a mini van that has three rows of passenger seats. Very different from your average car. I suppose he uses that term to identify that specific type of vehicle.

      @@JL-db2yc. The French police were going to deliver the message to the parents that their daughter was dead over the phone!👎😢. How awful, and despicable! Surely, the English officers either brought a French speaking officer with them, or the parents spoke English. Either way, no one should be told their child has died (been murdered) over the phone.

    I know others have already said it, but, the attention to the smallest details, right down to a barely visible stain near the gas cap door of the minivan/carrier...this is phenomenal work done by these detectives. Their integrity and perseverence; care of these victims and the victims families should be commended in every
    possible way.

    I liked to watch these of CSI docu-series, amazing how these detectives solved the case due to hard work, and lots of brain power. But I am not curious on the sentencing meted out to the murderers, because i know UK laws are pretty "lenient" when it comes to sentencing. Just like Canada laws too. Quite ridiculous really.

    These young women had their whole lives before them. This evil man, LEVI, took that away from them, and also deprived their families of grandchildren. Bring back the death penalty. Why should he have his life? He can't be rehabilitated. An outstanding investigation by the police.

    Scotland yard: solves insanely complex case with CCTV footage pieced together over months.

      A torch in the UK vernacular is what we in the US call a flashlight. Per stkrconcepts website: "This term came from the original torches that were essentially a stick with fire at the end. Flashlights were created in America but didn’t make their way to England until later. When this concept came to England, they called it an electric torch."

      A mini cab is taxi that you have to call to book - you cannot hail it in the street (like a black cab). The word "cab" comes from the phrase taxi-metered cabriolet from when they were horse drawn carriages :)

      People carrier is not a normal car - it's bigger and seats about 6-7 people like a mini van. In the UK people would know what he meant and would not waste time looking at cars.
