    Good & effective use of the violin as both a texture & lead.

      Thank you so much! 😊 I do love the way the violin looks, too…only downside is it’s quite a bit heavier than my regular violin. Oh well, worth it 👍

    As a veteran "doo" "doo"-er its great to see a more accomplished musician validate my doos. Good luck with the violin and thanks for another banger video.

    If you don't have Ableton 12, you can add random velocity using the "Add some random" preset of the "Velocity" MIDI effect

    Love that hot swap feature of the drum rack in simpler mode!

      Yeah! It’s so fun to swap sounds as it’s playing and see what sounds best.

    Another lovely track and video. Every time I learn something new about sound design and arrangement. Loved what you did with that simple pluck sound by adding character and sculpting the tone with effects. Amazing work. Keep it up 👍🙏

    You young lady are a genius. So much info in a small no nonsense package. My DAW is studio one but I also use live or try too. I find the GUI a bit intimidating.

    • @khartbeats

      Thank you so much. I haven’t tried studio one, but I was also very intimidated when I started working in Ableton. The learning curve is very steep!

    Is the note manipulation smoother in Live 12? Weird detail to pick up on, but it would be dope if it is :)
    P.S. Thanks for the Synth masterclass :D

    • @khartbeats
      @khartbeats  8 месяцев назад +2

      Actually drawing in and manipulating notes feels about the same to me, but the added ease of slicing notes alone was enough for me. Overall, piano roll experience is much better with the added features.
      And glad you enjoyed the masterclass...I spent a lot of time preparing it 🤣

      Hold the e key down first and then cntrl. Seems like it only works for me when I do it in that order. Hope that helps 🙂
