My biggest problem is chords. I can make basslines all day. But trying to make chords that go along with what the bass is doing kills anything I have going on with a track. Thank you for the chord explanation

Im very sorry, but the way you showed the recording in the first Audio file doesnt work with me, I have to click the main record button on the top next to the pause\Play. But it doesnt work at all anymore with the second audio line. Unfortunately I cant see what you do to record the second one, as your video image is running where the audio line settings are :/ Sorry but Im super confused...

How did you get to the point where you know what all these knobs and buttons are and what they do. Like Matrix, LFO, filter, and all these other fancy technical names? learned a lot with this video thanks ! i had to adjust the gate for snares a little bit cause they were causing me trouble and the chain for effects was obscure to me but it's a start to undesrstand the daw and make a full song without paid vst.
