- Sorry it has been so long since the last episode. In this video I'll give you a quick tour of my new workshop and show you how I carve the underside of the top, cut an h-fole with hand tools, cut the blade switch slot with hand tools and prepare the walnut back and glue the two pieces together. #greatguitarbuildoff #ggbo #ggbo2021

Cutting the F hole with that kind of finish would be very nerve racking for me. Well done!
Loving it, cannot wait for the next episode. Great new workshop too!
Thanks!
Looking great A D.
Congratulations on the new shop, that's super exciting.
Whew! Very skillful use of your handtools. Also, cool solution for doing the control cover. I'm looking forward to the final product!
Thank you! Cheers!
That's a good explanation of getting the blade switch slot right. I look forward to seeing more coming out of your garage!
Thanks Chris, hope everything is good with you.
ARE YOU CHEATING ON ME?! (jokes)
@@TempleGuitars It wasn't me! #shaggy
Great video. Looking forward to the next. Also learning tons from these. Thanks for sharing. You do a great job of hitting all the points that most of us would ask a question about.
Ha thanks Ryan, maybe I should leave a few things out so I get more comments.
Nah man. It’s a good balance. You leave just enough out to make us excited for the next video.
I remember that old bench in your early vids, I thought it had alot of character then, now I know why. The shop looks great, very jelly. I have much the same task ahead with my renovation.
Thanks Evan, That bench isn't up to much to be honest - knowing my uncle he would have only made it out of stuff he had to hand, old pine rafters and an old cabinet, but it does have some sentimental value. I found that it's not the best time to be doing this kind of project though! cost of sheet materials is through the roof at the moment.
Sorry if your comment has disappeared, I uploaded a re edit to fix audio issues. Thanks for pointing them out.

I have both workshop AND beard envy. Guitar’s looking awesome too
haha, well the beard took longer than the garage conversion.
@@ADFinlayson 😂 I’m 51 and still can’t grow one. If I don’t shave I look like I’ve eaten something sticky and kissed a cat

i have the same carving knife! its wicked sharp...... i accidently droped it but caught it before it hit the ground..... i should of let it hit the ground... OWWWWW
Haha yeah never try to catch the tools. I sharpen it with an oil stone and it comes up just as sharp as it did from factory. I should do more with it, maybe I’ll use it for some neck carving too
YOUR GUITARS ARE BEAUTIFUL AND I SURE THE SOUND TO!!!👌👌✌✌✌👍,WHY NOT BUT A BENDING AROUND THE NECK AND THE BODY??????👏👏👏👌✌👊👍👍
I grin whenever I hear 'F Hole'. So immature 🤣
Is this just a hobby, or are you a professional craftsman?
That sounds like a loaded question 😂
@@DavidImrie It's just a question.
