I have been afk for almost 2 years and I don't recall that giving our back to mobs would make us getting crit hits... It only takes away parry, dodge and block... I feel that they would not have changed it in dragonflight but I am afk so maybe I am wrong. Imo, it seemed just that you got tearing striked by this enraged thornguard which can def 1 shot a brew monk. Tearing strike on high fortified has always been a bit nasty while enrage is 100% dmg increase ...
But tanks can def dodge tearing strikes true. Maybe we would have lived facing this mob~ This is just some guessing from some poor retired tank that played a lot of BFA 😂
Yeah you're right. Non dodge is likely what I meant
