1:07:49 - the reason you can't cure all 3 is because they're on different sides of the 'field', they need to be side by side in order to apply any 'All' spells. Similarly, you'll sometimes encounter enemies who appear on either side of you, so you have to treat them as 2 groups of enemies so 'All' spells will only hit one group at a time.
Even with all these mods available, no one has fixed the mis translation with the 'attack while its tail is up' message forcing all new players to take big damage for no reason lol
It's not a mistranslation, it's just worded poorly to be spread across 2 screens. "Attack while it's tail is up, it'll counterattack with its laser." is a factual warning, albeit vague. Having said that, I agree subsequent releases should've added "If you" or "Don't" in front of it.
This is three weeks old, so it may not be useful anymore, but something to keep in mind: your party has two rows, front and back. Those in the front row take more damage than those in the back row. And melee attackers deal more damage in the front row and less in the back. Ranged attacks are unaffected by row selection.
May have already realized this but thier victory dances when they win a battle in OG is the same as when they win a in remake JUST in the battle arena. It’s so cool to see that recreated 💜
I am glad to see you going to experience the OG after starting with the remake. I just hope that going forward you share more of your thoughts about the differences in the scenes and story and what you think about what is going on as you play it.
A true classic.. I know the graphics and gameplay may make it tough to land for modern audiences, but I know when I listen to the soundtrack I still feel those feelings from first playing this game...
Just a quick FYI, you can actually turn up the battle speed if you find that the ATB is taking too long. You can also play around with the colors of the various menu, windows and whatnot.
Just finished your FF7R let's play, going to watch this one too, very fun and enjoyable to see your FF journey beginning ! Hope the slow battles will be your speed, i know it may not have aged very well (i say this before actually watching this episode, so i'll see soon enough)
ive never played this. i try not to watch letsplays of games i have not played, i dont want to ruin the experience. however im realizing i will never get around to most of these games :( so im going to watch this lets play :)
I beat this game along time ago when it came out for the playstation 1. This is memories. But i know you'll love Final Fantasy 10 that one was my favorite.
So cool this game ruined me as a teenager lol always fight it’s how u level up learn the put blue materias with certain magic when u can the chocobos u will love excited to watch u play through this game if u need any tips just ask
