Somehow my Avata now out of no where saves two files for each recording. one file being an mp4 and the other one an lrf. The mp4 is super slow mo and has very low frame rate. The lrf on the other hand has very "low resolution". Now i cant use either one of the files and cant really record anything. Can i somehow go back to recording in smooth 4k 60fps mp4 again? Thanks!
I'm guessing that the MP4 file is still recorded at 60 fps but that somehow the software you are using to play it thinks it has a low frame rate and that is why it is soper slo mo. If you can tell your application what the fps is then it should be fine.
Liked and subscribed. I have a problem. My Air 3 video in 4K60 was not ended properly. I have the 2.6GB mp4 file and the lrf file. As they were not closed they currently do not play in Windows and cannot be imported into my video editor. The abrupt end was due to a crash. As a seasoned IT tech guy, I expected to easily find software that would fix and add a proper end to the file. I have failed to find a fix. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Unfortunately, LRF files by DJI Osmo Action 4 are recorded in a lower frame rate (in my case 30 fps instead of 60 fps) and cannot be used in DaVinci Resolve as Proxy. Leaving this comment here for everyone who is trouble shooting and stumbles across this video.
@Traveltoexplore675 I have not figured it out, but by reasoning, it is not possible. If you want to edit a 60 fps video, you'll need a 60 fps proxy to make the right cuts.
There is currently no option to stop them being recorded. You can delete them but then there is no way to view the content without downloading the mp4 file.
I learned gold from you that proxy can use for premiere.
Thank you.Very useful and clear tutorial. Now I know what to do with Davinci
Thank you!!
thank you very much

Can't we use the proxy with lower frame rates? I also have osmo action 4.
Have same issues with dji action 2, any solution?
Same issue with the osmo pocket 3

can i turn off lrf files, so don't fill up storage quickly?
