Thank you! I just got started using this software, beginning my journey as a RUclipsr/Video Editor. I am going through the premiere pro starting tutorials and was curious as to what the Playhead Counter was representing. Knowing the hh:mm:ss:ff layout explains everything. I was looking at each frame and wondering why it was maxing out at 29. Now it makes sense as the videos I am learning with are 30 fps. So much to learn! It's funny because I am used to new software or new browser updates annoyingly guide you over every little detail as you click next on each item. For example highlighting the playhead counter and explaining, even just briefly what its is and how to understand it would be useful for a new editor or even someone using this software for the first time. This was my first manual lens I picked up from a church sale for 5 Canadian dollars . Shot it on my nex camera. It accompanied me on a photoshoot for an album cover :)

What was your first camera, and what lens did you start out with?

Liked and subscribed. I have a problem. My Air 3 video in 4K60 was not ended properly. I have the 2.6GB mp4 file and the lrf file. As they were not closed they currently do not play in Windows and cannot be imported into my video editor. The abrupt end was due to a crash. As a seasoned IT tech guy, I expected to easily find software that would fix and add a proper end to the file. I have failed to find a fix. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Thank you. I see that DJI says this is not possible, but you have shown it is. I see that the controller screen recording comes with audio as well as the captured audio. No doubt the microphone is essential to get any audio, but then there are suddenly two tracks - interesting. DJI say their own DJI Mic does not work with it, but the Rode one does. No doubt a USB C Mic would do the same job

What camera do you use, and do you make use of dual base ISO? Would love to hear your experience.

Thank you so much for this :-) The last time I used AE was before MOGARTs were a thing... Your explanation and illustrations were very clear, and close ups were just where I needed them. The default font on my AE had slashes through the zeros which I didn't want because it looked too much like time code rather than a stopwatch. I couldn't figure any way to adjust the font using the time code text effect, so I googled and found this expression to use on an AE text layer instead of using the TC effect on an adjustment layer from trashcaneron on the Adobe forum: timeToCurrentFormat() Then I needed to use a monospaced font that didn't have slashes on the zeros.

can i turn off lrf files, so don't fill up storage quickly?

Hmm, I don't have the option to save the file as anything else but PowerPoint file format or PDF...

Do you have a business plan? Has it been useful? What are your best tips for planning and tracking against the plan? Would love to hear your thoughts.

What doesn't seem to be covered here is how to playback only the work area.

I'm guessing all the dislikes are from the morons who saw "trim paths in Premiere Pro" and were disappointed that AE is used. I also tried looking for a way to do his in Premiere Pro only but after a proper research I think the only elegant way to do this without nearly hours of work every time is to do it with a MOGRT as our guy here showed us. For those who want to delete the unused files from Premiere Pro as well as from your computer: 1. Go to your folder from which you have to clean it up, then go to "Edit" in top left and choose remove unused. 2. Once unused footage is deleted , Undo it (Ctrl Z) , you will find that there are unused clips selected. 2. Then right click , click on "Make offline" and then choose "delete from computer" , click on warning , ok to proceed.

What about Edit/Removed Unused? Does that do the same thing?

great video, however I have a question. If you have two transmitters, and one receiver, would the same process work. For an example you are talking to another person who is also wearing a transmitter that is connected to the receiver. Would this group both transmitters into one audio file?

Is the same steps applied to a Canon 6D camera? In this case what software do you use to connect Canon to PC and use as webcam in OBS?

Good video!! Learned a lot! My understanding of Premiere's audio functions has gone up 50%!

With my a7c the weight would be only 949g. With my tamron 17-28 (420g) it is even less at 929g. I think these two lenses complement together very well and these share the same 67mm filter size. The 17-28 is very good on gimbal with its internal zoom that don’t change the balance. Th 24-50 would be nice to get the standard zoom 40/50 and the 35 for minimum distortion in wide lens. It provides the 24/28 for wide shot group and landscape. The 17-28 provides 17/20 good for vlogging and those that use active stabilization. I don’t care about AS, i use a gimbal for better result and no crop. My a7c has no AS anyway. It has gyro stabilization though. However i don’t need it with the superb weebill 3s gimbal.

Somehow my Avata now out of no where saves two files for each recording. one file being an mp4 and the other one an lrf. The mp4 is super slow mo and has very low frame rate. The lrf on the other hand has very "low resolution". Now i cant use either one of the files and cant really record anything. Can i somehow go back to recording in smooth 4k 60fps mp4 again? Thanks!

great video. It should be noted that the usbC on the RC2 won't power an audio receiver, so the receiver needs to be self powered with its own battery.

When i expport the slides , it pixelates and quality is not good. How to fix that?
