An incredibly talented musician taken so soon at only 41.
Kristy was a beautiful talent and now Shane is gone too. But they left us a beautiful song to remember them by, "Fairytale of New York", thankyou. RIP.

They both became angels at Christmas, same with George Michael who became an angel on his last christmas! ❤ I watch the documentary on how she died on her angel anniversary.

Kirsty MacColl died in a speedboating accident before Christmas, she recorded her final album in 2000 as if she wasn’t dead, it would’ve been an new chapter for the 21st century for the rest of the 2000s as she didn’t like it through though as now rest in peace. RIP. Shane McGowan is also dead this year, they are now together at last to the fairytale in the sky.

I loved that chip shop song from the first time I heard it and the song that Tracy Ullman sang, I don't think it was fair that it catapulted Tracy into American and British pop stardom. It was kirsty's song, she wrote it and she had the better voice and had to help boost it up for Tracy by singing backing vocals.. she should have got to sing it as front singer and got the stardom Tracy got, she wasn't given nearly enough recognition or respect for that brilliant song as for singing with the pogs yeah they were good ish before her but to me and probably a lot more people KIRSTY MACALL made that band and nobody even up to today could ever sing that fairytale in new york song 🎵 better than her and Shane.. his raw sore throat type voice along with kirstys remarkable special voice is just what that song needed. No wonder it was such a big hit.. and when we all get sick of hearing Christmas songs playing in shops or radio etc 🙄 I like many people never get sick of hearing that one I absolutely love it and all her songs. I wanted other members of her family to pursue her mothers investigations and finally get some answers for her death.. and billionaire or not that scumbag should have rotted in jail and stripped of all his financial assets some given to the Mexican government for his keep in jail and the rest to kirsty's two sons.. also a world televisised public apology to all her family and her partner for their loss. It should have gone as far as the agreement whatever its called between America and 🇲🇽 Mexico. The world should know the truth about her death..
She was a sweet sweet singer. Absolutley integral to fairytale of new york.
