so true. The fact they keep mentioning exploration is just a nice way of saying extended pokestop distance goes against their core design concept and obviously they want you to help them create more accurate AR data

If everyone went free to play until they changed it back they would do it super fast. I've always been a free to play player so it's easier for me to say that but cut into a companies profits is the quickest way to get them to change

If you tried that trick when you didn’t own and/or didn’t have any right to that business or product and went over your bosses head you’d end up being fired and/or sued. One needs to learn patience. Remote raid passes are the ultimate non-exploration mechanism. Where you can play around the world from your couch. Niantic only responds when we hurt their wallet enough.
Getting to the gym remotely isn't the same as exploration. The player only gets to see one(or more) pictures of the place. Its like seeing pictures on google. And googling places isn't exploration.

i am in the US and increased interaction distance makes me go out to grind more. this is pretty straightforward. as it is now, it is tougher to spin stops even when you’re very close and this makes it more frustrating. thank you brandon for all your time and effort with these videos, we don’t take it for granted.

I've been waiting over 3 weeks for them to update the pokestop I submitted a picture to change the pokestop and requested it to be a gym and they haven't done anything ! Is this normal ?

Concerning Stop and Gym distance, has anyone already proposed the idea of the radius expanding and contracting based movement? Something around the scale of 5:1 meters where moving 5 meters increases the radius 1 meter. In a 5:1 case that works out to 100 meters of continuous movement to gain 20 meters of increased radius. Similarly, cool-down (when not involved in a Raid) could decrease the radius, for example, 1:1 in minutes where 1 minute decreases 1 meter of radius back to 20.
It's a start ...it sucks we gotta go through all that just to get a response. I have faith in this "task force " we need a task force to deal with all the issues, from lag crashing glitches and just better ways to play...if they listen to us the game will get 10000000000% better...it's a no brainer...listen to your community and your game will be better on all fronts ...I'm actually excited to see what happens.

I Love Playing this game…. But. I can only hope that from all of you that have shown as much passion to getting this game fixed, that you show the same passion for getting real world issues and problems on our planet fixed. And not just because we had something changed in our wonderful game. There are other things that need our attention out there as well❤️
Concerning Stop and Gym distance, has anyone already proposed the idea of the radius expanding and contracting based movement? Something around the scale of 5:1 meters where moving 5 meters increases the radius 1 meter. In a 5:1 case that works out to 100 meters of continuous movement to gain 20 meters of increased radius. Similarly, cool-down (when not involved in a Raid) could decrease the radius, for example, 1:1 in minutes where 1 minute decreases 1 meter of radius back to 20.

It's a start ...it sucks we gotta go through all that just to get a response. I have faith in this "task force " we need a task force to deal with all the issues, from lag crashing glitches and just better ways to play...if they listen to us the game will get 10000000000% better...it's a no brainer...listen to your community and your game will be better on all fronts ...I'm actually excited to see what happens.

I have to say I admire his effort to speak English, great work man. Niantic knew long before this boycott how we felt, all the companies involved knew how we felt and ignored us. We should all stop buying coins until they change their ways and build them game around what the players want, or what what's the point?

I am hopeful given the timing of niantics response. That really is a big deal given their communication problems. So that I respect. But its a cooki cutter response of sorts so im not overly optimisitc. I appreciate all of the youtubers for being our vouce and bringing this to their atrention in such a big waay! Peronsally I am super super excited to see how you handle free to play! I play that way often and its challenging but a bit funner be ause you have to be strategic in what you catch, collect, and tsrget ^_^
