- Resident Evil 4 Remake is a survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. It is a remake of the 2005 game Resident Evil 4, scheduled for release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on March 24, 2023.
Resident Evil 4 is a remake of the 2005 game of the same name. It will feature "over-the-shoulder" third-person shooter gameplay similar to the original game, while drawing from the remakes of Resident Evil 2 (2019) and Resident Evil 3 (2020). Resident Evil 4 features modernized and improved visuals compared to the original, with a tenser atmosphere, improved character designs and enhanced backgrounds.

I think I want a Resident Evil: Classics Collection more than anything else RE related right now. A set containing upscaled versions of RE1, 2, 3 and CV:X, with the option to play with modernised controls and achievements, would be perfect for my Steam Deck!
Hopefully, Konami have inspired Capcom to do this now, as there's room for both Classics and Remakes in any collection!
Me too and a Resident outbbreak files 1 an 2 on the new system alot of people missed out on. Co op great on it an its scary as hell easy to die. definitely made to play with others.

A collection of the original Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 Nemesis and Code: Veronica would be great!
The since the only widely available versions on current consoles and PC are the Remakes, which can stray far from the original versions.
In addition, a Remake of Code: Veronica will take time, just having the original available on all Plattforms goes a long way.
RE code veronica is already present on modern consoles, check it out for yourself
Separate ways must be coming soon and its ok to be mistaken on something no one knows everything no matter how much you love a game or show, the DEVs will update things as they see fit we just gotta be patience

I gurantee it will. People fail to realize how long these DLC’s take nowadays it’s not like before where they could be pumped out in a couple months after release. It’s more like 8-12 months now so I wouldn’t expect to see anything this year tbh or atleast not till December at the earliest. 90 percent of games that come out now aren’t even completed when they’re released so most of the time the devs aren’t focusing on DLC right away and more so are working to get patches out

If Capcom released a classic collection (1-CV) which included all the content across all ports (like the DC exclusive costumes for Jill in RE3 and the N64 Randomizer) I would write Capcom a blank check and let them charge whatever they wanted. Add new things to them on top of that and I'd write them two checks.

Isnt RE 3 on DC same version that is on PC and it has same costumes that are on PC? you can even play mercenaries there without finishing game just like on pc

I'm still hoping for Outbreak 1 and 2 to be remastered in a bundle. They could even use some of the scrapped levels that didn't make it into the final product.
Outbreak might be my favorite RE besides 4/8 would love to see that remastered

@@zamfirtoth6441as a mega fan of the original RE4, I held the remake to the highest of standards. And it met all of them. I'd pay $100 for RE4 remake lol. It's worth it I promise. Game prices suck though, you're right.

@@sofianelson1168I do too. It isn’t that crazy. Systems get old and eventually die on you. With the advances in technology and the money companies make on new consoles, good luck getting replacements on older ones. When the old games get released on new consoles, there’s often updated graphics, textures, sound quality, and sometimes even new features. Like when RE4 released on PS2/Will and had the Separate Ways, Assignment Ada, and the Plaga Laser Removal gun which weren’t on the GameCube launch version.

The original and Zero have the potential to be really creepy proper horror titles. I know they're not as "action" heavy as 4 etc but a more mature slower tone, with today's 3D engine they have would be perfect..
Exploring Spencer Mansion in full 4k (and the atmospheric extra areas from the Gamecube REmake) would be fantastic.
Plus a Mercenaries mode inside the mansion would be a great addition.

Capcom is one if the best developer/creation company's at listening to their fan base. Obviously seperate ways and mercs with ada and wesker are coming. Best thing us fans can do is keep being vocal about the add ons we want
I think it could be like the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection. They could put the older ones in a $60 collection. Maybe the first 3, Resident Evil Director’s Cut, Gaiden (Gameboy Color), and maybe even the Chronicles titles. Or even the Outbreak and Survivors ones
Capcom should do the same thing that Konami is doing with metal gear, the clasic collection vol.1 with the original 3 games, and the volume 2 with both outbreak games too

Awesome! I never got people that were against remakes of their favorite games, I particularly love to see them fresh and new, but still, I think a remaster shoud always be released wirh the remake, give people to play exactly what they want.
As for the DLC, I think it'd be cooler if it'd be about Operation Javier, I think we got some separate ways scenes in this game, but Krawser story is on an underground wii game.
RE 1 Director’s Cut is already available on PS Plus. I don’t know why they aren’t adding RE2 & RE3 Nemesis to their roster

I tried to 100% all achievements, and now they're adding more😂😂😂 time to grind again
I still play RE 1-3 like once or twice a year, sometimes Code Veronica as well. Used to emulate PSX/DC/GC and all have their advantages, but settled in with the PC ports of the first three with upscale mods that came out the past few years and at this point it's definitely the best way to go. If they package these all together and it's on par or better than what I've got at the moment, I'd buy it in a second. Some of my favorite games ever to this day. Considering the fine toothed comb work that went into the fan HD mods though and meticulously sourcing the best versions of FMVs and whatnot though, I'd be surprised if Capcom topped that effort themselves. But hey fingers crossed

Ive been meaning to play re4r again. Im on the nightmare extreme mode playthrough and after getting stomped i decided to play sunbreak for a while. Gonna hop back in soon.
Still run RE2 on N64. Competing for speedrun times with myself. Reliving the horror I experienced when I was 5 and would turn it off and play outside the second I saw a zombie.
I’m really excited for the Charted Paths DLC… very excited to play the prequel storyline of the merchant and play as the merchant in mercenaries!!!

Lot of game series been getting classic collection lately which even Metal Gear is getting classic collection but if they do a classic collection for the first games I want the GameCube version of RE2 because I remember that version having the option to skip the cutscenes.

The mere mention of a Resident Evil Classics Collection made me choke on my breakfast. That's exactly what I've been wanting for years. A lot of newer fans have never gotten to experience the originals, I myself was born just after the Playstation 1 era ended. The Resident Evil 1 Remake is the oldest RE game I got to experience, so I'm really curious to play the originals and see just how much is different.
There is a comic con coming in July 20 to the 23 so it could be announced there or maybe earlier

I already knew about the Resident Evil Classic Collection before you ever mentioned it in the video. It is going to be released on Xbox one PlayStation 4 and switch. Just no release date yet. I have ad for the Resident Evil Classic Collection on my phone. I got the ad in January of last year.

Yes more remakes are welcome, I noticed everyone talking about classics, N64 and emulators. I get it and a new graphic refresh release would be great, I do remember the GameCube Era though and that graphic remake of the original was crazy at the time. So if they can keep most of the story but twerk it for a little new content, which would be simple amazing!

I have the original 3 games ( & Silent Hill ) down loaded on my psp. That thing has been all around the globe with me.
Despite I'll always have my gripes with capcom/ modern devs waiting post launch to work on dlc instead of dropping it all in one like the old days I wish we could go back to that. However I would love a classic collection, even though I have all of them emulated it would be nice to have them all for easier access and quick launching or even take on the go on my switch so I can play the old games while I'm at work or something
