This must be among the most challenging camera operator jobs in the world - so much to remember. When the bands rehearse on stage, they rehearse on stage.
TO THE PEOPLE WHO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE STEADICAM DURING ESTONIA'S FINAL PERFORMANCE: That wasn't the fault of the steady cameraman. The vision mixer controls which camera is active who is mostly in the production room. The vision mixer simply switched to the next camera too late. THIS steadicam guy did a great job tho!!
It's really cool for the channel to highlight the people who made the show possible! Thank you, Tim, for recording all of these Eurovision moments in such intuitive angles that make it so much more personal and enjoyable!
For things like this, I follow Eurovision, not the songs, not the singers (it was envolved in me with the time HA)... I love the production team! I hope to be here one year for meet all behind and frond the stage. Thanks for make Eurovision a great TV show!
The first time a steadycam was used in Eurovision was in 1990 in Zagreb, then Yugoslavia. Back then it was much heavier and had to be carried around by two guys. Added a whole new magic to the show. It was the best directed Eurovision to date.
Admiro a estas personas, a todo el equipo de Eurovision porque hacen un trabajo increíble.. Es el mejor show! Todos los años lo espero con mucha emoción! Con amor desde Venezuela!
It's amazing how visual aesthetics have changed. 1997, I believe, must have been the last Eurovision without any steadycam shots whatsoever. And I wish they would use them more sparingly yet more effectively.
At the beginning playing "Replay" by Tamta which represented Cyprus 🇨🇾 in Eurovision 2019. I hope Cyprus will win next year in Eurovision 2020 because Eleni Foureira and Tamta didn't won 😔. From Greece 🇬🇷
He didn't laugh because of that, he laughed because he did a very hard movement with the camera, called the Whip Pan, and it worked well, so he went laughing
I make covers and music video’s sinds 2010. Watch my video’s and you’ll see that all the camera movements are inspired by Eurovision. The steadicam work that is done during Eurovision is the best in the world. It makes the picture and music come together and you can feel the emotion in the way the picture flows. Big inspiration for me!
the guys from Kazakhstan would do everything to sing with us in the adult ESC ........forget boring Luxembourg .....we should all focus and support countries that want to participate ♥.
Turkey and Bulgaria are the only options left Other very unlikely options are Monaco and Moroco Also please,Kazakhstan in 2020,unlike Israel and Cyprus and Australia a part of Kazakhstan is in Europe,so they should participate
Does anyone realise Eurovision wouldn’t be eurovision without the steadicam? This is literally 50% of Eurovision shots
Fuego had none. Luca Hanni and Kate Miller Heidke also had none :D
@@DominoLarry if Kate had one, would be a problem
@@DominoLarry They dont even make up 50% of the show...
And the rest is unnecessary long shots
Stedicam is one of the biggest reasons why I love Eurovision. These people are legends!
So true, it's a tough job at Eurovision.
Not sure if you've seen dancing on Ice in the UK but they have a steadicam operator on the ice. One of the coolest jobs there is
Real heroes are the camera man who ran on stage with these heavy cameras
So true, it's a tough job at Eurovision.
jouu herli haha
Thinking about Czech Republic's 7 televotes makes it harder to watch the video
I'm Czech and I actually laughed so hard 😁
Oğuz Akar same, my winner damn 😩
**CZECH ACTUALLY GETS 7 PTS**
everybody: 😂 and then 😭
@@SvobodovaEva zdravím:)))
That fast turn with the camera at 3:14 was impressive
Yeah, it's called a Whip Pan. Very tricky to do, but you get used to it.
and his smirk right after - the feeling of nailing a cool shot live.
It's amazing how they could remember all the shoots they need to do
So true, it's a tough job at Eurovision.
yeah, it's so impressive how they remember everything, i even can't remember my shop list 😁

Respect to those people , because without them we wouldn't be able to see the performance on the TV and RUclips !
Literally one minute after Eurovision 2019 was done I was like, I can't wait for next year lol
Edit: wow, so many likes, lol, thanks

If the Eurovision song contest 2019 was so increrible, i CAN'T wait for next year!!!!!! Kisses from Greece!!!
Always amazed by the steadicam shots and how quickly the cameramen get out of the next shot.
Who else want Rotterdam for host city at ESC 2020?

And i live in the Estonia
@DinoPostingStuff DPS AWWWW
True.
Although they cut automatically so yes the responsibility is on the vision mixer but there can be more complicated things happening
They are the real artists

as a techie, I love these behind the scenes videos. Makes you see the real picture
This video was uploaded on my birthday! Thanks Eurovision 😄
Happy birthday 😆
Excellent work from Tim and Daniel. The cuepilot had a few errors but not the steadicam operators fault. Especially Estonia
Thanks for the video and thanks for all of the crew there working so hard ♥
