    What Brand Do You Want To See Next?

      @@Delivrd Honda, Mazda and Ford will likely be most popular. I wouldn't mind Hyundai/KIA. Subaru and Chevy would be nice. Stellantis and Nissan are probably too chaotic.

    The challenge I’m running into is most of the Subaru dealers around the WA STATE area DO NOT want to just “sell a car”! They feel they do not have to reduce prices especially since the Subaru brand is in great demand and the brand sells itself. The lowest price I have been able to negotiate is around $47 K on a 2025 Ascent Touring AWD.

    All the prices Tomi quotes here are the 5% to 10% of car deals out there. They are absolute best case scenario. You may need to call 10-15 dealers before you find that sort of price, especially in the color and options you want. Tomi has tools and relationships you don't have access to.

      These are what we are negotiating, people can negotiate these if they are willing to put the time in.

    • @leonardyoung6821
      @leonardyoung6821 14 дней назад +2

      @Delivrd , the deals I see you negotiate on new Toyota models are sometimes $2000 less than the average transaction price for that model. By definition, your deals are well below market price. Not everyone is going to get a deal below average market price without the market collapsing. Dealers are not going to allow that to happen. Especially on a high demand brand.

    When talking about discounts that buyers might expect off MSRP, are you considering the destination charge in MSRP? I was guessing no, since I think the dealer's getting charged the destination fee by Toyota either way, but just wanted to double check

      In Canada with free trade in cars the large automakers take a longer view on selling prices. The Canadian dollar has dropped substantially but the retail price has not risen as much. It is now relatively cheaper to make a Toyota in Canada compared to the USA. So the RAV4s are sent south and the trucks and vans are shipped north. Prices are held relatively steady in Canadian dollars so as not to shock the customers.
      I just did a calculation: on the listed base price of the Camry the American price would need to be lower by 9% to meet the Canadian price

    Went to a local Florida Chevy dealer and looked at a 2025 Equinox Active trim... and they wanted a 3K+ market adjustment along with all the other nonsense... $46K OTD for something they are advertising as $33K online. Wife was even like.. .Hmm, it is filthy and still has the plastic shrink wrap from the factory... What is this paint protection thing you added? Sales person said Chevy doesn't let them make enough money to so they MUST add charges....

    I looked at the Crown and was put off that they didn't add a lot of leg, shoulder and headroom to it. I have been interested in an Avalon but they discontinued it. Lots of RAV4 Hybrid at my dealership. I'd love an LE Camry for $27.5K but base LEs without dealer add-ons are something that I haven't seen in years.

    Hello! I need a car asap! , I am going to buy a Toyota next week, I am a single mom with a teenage son, family of 2, I did not travel much on the road when I had a car, this time I will do that but only within Florida, I am not interested in a hybrid car, I am looking for a Toyota vehicle that saves gas, and that does not cost too much to maintain per year. I will buy the car at the nearest Toyota dealership, but I am afraid of being deceived because I have never been to a car dealership, and the seller can sell me the car more expensive and with extra things that I do not want or need, but I do not even know the basics. Can you guide me please. My limit with taxes and fees included is $21,000 It is not financing. Thank you!

    How come deals in the Northeast (NJ, Delaware, PA) are just not there. They advertise "discounts" off the MSRP only to see that most people do not qualify for the discounts. Then they all are adding $2,000 to $3,000 "ADD ONS" which they don't discount !! Deals in the South, sure, ou are getting lots of deals from the sales people in Texas. But here in New Jersey/Delaware/Philadelphia these sales managers are NOT discounting much if any
