Hell, he _challenged_ the world for fuel alternatives by showing an AE86 powered by a 4AGE _that runs on Hydrogen gas_ . If I remember correctly, he is also one of the drivers of the GR Corolla H2 concept on the Super Taikyu Series.
Unfortunately the CEO is stepping down I loved what he did for toyota and also that he was the grandson of the OG toyoda His reasons were "his way of thinking is too old school" and such, which I find hilarious, given how he breathed a ton of fresh air into the company

Toyota is kinda one of the best car companies around right now i mean come on! Their CEO PERSONALLY tests their “enthusiast” models and they’ve made hydro-combustion engines a thing!
To be fair, they didn't invent Hydro Electric engines or even the idea of running a fuelcell, in the Early 2000 BMW experimented with it as well, but the technology might be at a good point, the distribution of Hydrogen Stations isn't.

The GR Supra and the regular Supra are two different cars. The Toyota Supra MK5 is a BMW Z4 with a nicer body on top. The Toyota GR Supra is the Gazoo Racing tuned version of the Supra MK5, and it's quintessentially a Toyota rather than a badge-swapped BMW, because their GR team put A TON of work into modifying the GR version.
Toyota does not spend 1 mil per hour in research. That was misleading and Toyota gave a response for that claim. 1 mil per hour would be 8.7 billion per year. C'mon.
