fun fact for BnS/Envious Arsenal: with Alethonym, sticking a target keeps proc'ing that weapon for as long as the spike is impaled, so you only need to swap to 1 weapon for a reload on your heavy if you magdump fast enough with your GL.
Attrition orbs on the new area denial is probably the best thing I’ve ever used for add clear, you can get 2-3 orbs PER SHOT with it. And it’s an area denial frame, so the add clear is also INSANE on it by default (+ Demo on it is god tier as well)
We will see how long before it gets nerfed. I'm sure bungie will slap it down or add a delay timer or something. Orbs are easy that new exotic gl is unlimited ammo plus generates ammo and easy orbs.

The only time I take it off is to use 1K Voices. If you are down to farm, that new B/S GL you can farm it and the VS Baton from the first encounter of the dungeon. If you are looking to partner up with someone... I'm down, fellow Gardian. 🍻
VS Velocity Baton with ANY third column perk and Attrition Orbs is still going to be amazing. I got unlucky with my first Attrition Orbs and got Reverberation, still ended up trying it in Zero Hour a few days ago and I generated 18 orbs off of the brig at the start alone. It's good in early game content, but UNMATCHED for orb generation in end game content.
I think it would be really cool if adagio had a stacking function similar to onslaught, and then with the two of them together your rate of fire stays constant
The auto in pvp might not look attractive with the perk pool but it's scope actually highlights enemies in it, making it a lot easier to see the person you're shooting (also fragile focus and weapons mods can get it to 93 range)
I got a heavy gl with cascade and bait-and-switch, and WOW, it can do sone really insane damage. Dumps the entire eight-round mag super quickly with a 35% damage buff. Yes, you have to reload, but with one loader mod that’s a non-issue. Rapid-fire gls intrinsically have a faster reload already when you dump the mag. With this perk combo, I can very quickly dump all my heavy ammo and move onto my super and special ammo (choir of one goes hard).
I also highly recommend Unrelenting on the area denial. That burst of healing comes in clutch more often than you think and is a perk I think is always under looked. Like I didn't see anyone bringing it up with Hush when it can get Unrelenting + Incandescent which only exists on a few weapons. Unrelenting + Destabilizing or any damage perk works really well.
Unrelenting has consistently been one of the most underrated perks in the game for 13 seasons now. It’s what I’m going for in the 3rd column on the new smg with jolting feedback whenever it releases so I can add some healing to some builds with less sustain while still using a good smg
The problem is that the content where an Area Denial GL is going to get kills in is content you don't need the healing for. They just don't do enough damage in harder content.
11k kills this season on lost signal and 3k on the void area denial. Area denial frames are strong AF in master nightfalls and 50 waves of onslaught. Already killed 250 rev scorn. People just don't know how to use em lmao
Hear me out. The area denial frame with under over and attrition orbs. Due to the frames lower damage, it can chew through enemies with shields with this to get to the juicy centre faster and start procing orbs, as most tankier enemies in game have shields
I got Under Pressure/Closing Time on my FIRST Fusion Rifle drop from this dungeon after the first encounter. I read the perk combo and immediately thought "Wait.... doesn't this go hard in PvP?" I'm glad to know other people are thinking similarly lmao
Yes, auto-loading perks on heavy GLs are nice but (1) loader mods exist, and (2) cascade point being in the 3rd column is insane since you can pair with a damage boosting perk in the 4th!

Disclaimer that Demolitionist got stealth nerfed a while back so instead of a universal 10% reduction, it’s 10% for the shorter grenade cooldowns and closer to 5% for the longer grenade cooldowns.
my first and only roll of VS Pyroelectric Propellant got Eddy Currrent and Jolting Feedback, and it fills the Centrifuge niche nicely. my arclock build gets an occasional third jolt in with it too
One roll i finally got and wanted was Repulsor brace / attrition orbs in combination with the fragment facet of bravery (grenade kills give Volatial rounds) and the aspect Gunpowder gamble it's been fun for me
Super late but i gotta recommend strategist + jolting feedback for hunters for one reason - gifted conviction. Spamming ascension is super fun in mid-level content
My VS Baton Roll dropped with Reverberation + Bait/Switch. I was about to shard it until I decided to test it out... DAMN! Its definitely worth the grind... especially if your roll has great reload like mine does. Everything dies when you proc B/S on this little monsters. This has turned into my God roll. I am still farming for Demo + AO, only for my Varity class item build. I just got the B/S roll last night so haven't been able to fully test it, but I will peovide another update later on today when I get to run it through Onslaught. 🍻
Reverb is currently a wasted perk on Area Denial frames as they're already at 100 blast radius by default. No idea why Bungie put this perk on it to begin with unless they're changing something (and considering there are still +mag perks on Linears that add no extra shots, I doubt it).

I got a Velocity Baton with Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds last week. Paired with my void build and this season's artifact perks it's insane. You literally spend more time with an overshield than not I highly recommend people search out this roll
Destabilizing and under over on that GL has been feeling real nice. I just wish the Master dungeon had double perks on the weapons. I don't need artifice armor so I'm not really incentivized to do the hard mode of this dungeon
It shoots out a volley similar to Wardcliff or EoT, so I assume it would just slow down how fast that volley comes out Edit: Fun fact, if you swap weapons too soon after firing an area denial frame you can actually cut off the volley, resulting in less projectiles and less damage. I have done this many times with my Lost Signal
The repulser destabilizing on the area denial is actually not as good as I was expecting. It’s probably better on hunter but I was very underwhelmed. What surprised me on this weapon was high ground, it’s basically always up and just buffs your damage all the time.

For withering gaze, does the perk have to be active prior to charging the fusion rifle? Is it 1500 ms then start charging or is it: ADS 360 ms + wait 480 ms + 660 ms charge time = 1500 ms to apply weaken?
Who do you have 100 recov on that Getaway Artist build, you litterly have Devour active like ALL the time. Put those points into discipline instead, or intellect or strength since Devour also grants nade energy. Just something that's useful on a build that takes advantage of Devour.
No lie!! Getaway artist warlocks, that's just what thwy are and gonna be always. And I get it, it's super good, albeit super annoying in low to mid tier runs for anyone but the warlock.

Unfortunately the solution is either constantly make the game harder so you can keep making better and better guns or sunsetting both of which the community absolutely hates.
Let’s face it, the heavy GL is the only good weapon in this dungeon. The fusion can have arguments made that it too can be great, but I don’t lean too much into fusion rifles. The other gl is okay I guess and the auto rifle is a meh.

Special grenade launcher 100% like lost signal but with better perks and in the energy slot. Fusion is meh, auto is niche if you like arc, heavy gl is another best in slot gl but if you’re not a die hard player and don’t care about a 5% dps increase I wouldn’t stress about it

It's criminal to not mention the auto is basically a legendary Zhalo Supercell and instead comparing it to Centrifuse.
Best comparison is a cross between the two. Jolts on rapid hit but also reloads faster from sprinting and amplified

Im farming that again today. Got cascade/explosive light and even if its not meta roll i can say this doesnt need a loader. Its so fast to reload.
BnS is a 30% buff, not 35%. It was nerfed awhile ago.

That wasn’t a stealth nerf, it was in the patch as a general change for all % ability gain perks back in season of the wish
Hardly a stealth nerf, it was pretty explicit from the patch notes where they changed how % scalars work for ability recharge.
Envious arsenal is an easy S perk. Got it on Bitter/Sweet and it absolutely slaps

Like donno if i even care to run this dungeon. 600rpm auto pales in comparison to the summoner area denial frame i guess is cool for orbs and the heavy i guess is meta dps but its never that game changing. Im rather disappointed by this dungeon.
I do miss this game, but I just don't have time anymore for The unforgivable,ungodly "grind" that is destiny 2.
It feels illegal to be this early. Oh well XD
